The staff was exceptional, we booked and arrived late after walking all over the city, the building is aged but clean, the staff was helpful,nice our room was dark and we slept in, it was that quiet! Everything was good, exceptional staff.

The location was very close to the railway station. The shower head was broken and the room was somewhat cold. The room was located in a outhouse where the stairs were rotting. The staff were rude when I came back at 17:00 (instead of 15:00) to collect the left luggage despite it being a perfectable acceptable time.

The receptionist was very nice and friendly and the little garden was quiet. The room was quiet at the night time so we had a good sleep. It was quite a characterful place. It was a really good price. We couldn't have breakfast there which was a shame. The bathroom needs some refurbishment especially the shower which is past its best.

Nothing. I didn’t stay. On arrival I paid for my room and was shown upstairs. I showed the reception staff that I had booked a room with 2 beds. I was able to clearly show this on my booking form from booking.com. But was given a room with only 1 bed. This came after a confusion I had about if the hotel was in the clean air zone, I had called earlier, twice, and was assured that it wasn’t. I then arrived to find it was. As they could not provide the room I booked I was not happy to stay and asked for a refund, the hotel was not able to offer me the room I had paid for and therefore I should be offered a refund. This was agreed on the phone with the manager via the receptionist. I asked for written confirmation that the refund would be processed and received a message on booking.com which said that they would contact booking.com in the morning about ‘my reservation and payment’ I questioned the wording of this and said that it didn’t specifically say a refund, I was told repeatedly that this was what it meant. I messaged back asking for confirmation that a refund would be issued. All of this was happening at 10.30pm after a very long 7 hour drive. The following morning I contacted booking.com who have been in contact with the hotel who are now refusing to issue the refund. I paid for a service (a room with 2 beds) which they could not provide, took my money and are now refusing to return my money. I have been repeatedly lied to by staff at the hotel. I had not expected a luxury stay but did expect honesty and to receive what I had paid for.

Location Hello, Dear booking it was literally terrible and awful I just left the hotel at midnight with tears in my eyes. All my body was irritating and by morning it was red spot with irritations with the sing of bed bugs. I am really annoyed and at the middle of night with tears just left the room with no answering even I showed the bed bugs to recipient and I recorded a film that insects just passing the bed. Till now I am doing all my apartment that I staying washing and cleaning all over. Also use some medicine for alleviating the inchy and I am going to dr my appoinment still not coming. And yesterday Just wanated to talked to maneger but they didnt pick up the phone beacuse I tild them I am coming to talk about my problem just think ok she is leaving the city so hard to come back. Today By night I will go with a friend who can speak French to talk to them in person. They think I am just a paasenger they refued even to book another place or refund me. I AM SO sad and angry

Inexpensive hotel about 200 metres from the railway station. There appeared to be only one staff member. Rooms were not made up each day, and towels were not changed. No cup or glass provided in the bathroom.

Fair value & friendly staff

The staff was very nice and friendly. They have spoke n fluent English and look after us. The price we paid was more than for a hotel F1 but I think hotel f1 was more modern and renovated than this one. The room was going downhill which was a bit weird but interesting.

The staff is accomodating. The bathroom is quite small but it is ok.

Disappointing

Though this place called a hotel actually it is not!! . Its a kind of place where providing very tiny and small rooms to the travelers by charging huge some of money. During my stay I was very shocked and upset. The room heating was very bad and I requested several times to fix it but not they properly done it. Only additional cover bed sheet was provided. I was felt very cold during the whole nights. Further, during my seven nights they did not clean the room and dit not change the towels and beddings at least a single time. I thought many times to change the place but difficult to find a good place in such a rush. Finally, I decided to stay there only the reason was location of the place. It easy to access to the main railway station and the bus stops. Due to this ill treatments I stay there at night times only. Thought staff is not professionaly trained two of them ware friendly, Some of them cannot speak or understand even a few wards of English. Poor them. Receptionist is only the available staff member in the hotel in the evening and late morning, he/ she also changed daily basis.The new member didn't know the needs/ reqirements of the guests. Very funny thing is only two slices of bread, butter and orange juice were the only things available for breakfast. It cost 6.80€! very first day I ate four slices of bread without knowing the limit, suddnly the receptionist asked me not to eat more than two slices using his broken Englis...... ???... So, I stoped taking breakfast from them. additionally. I am totally fedup with this so cslled hotel and I still cannot understand why the Municipal Council Authorities of the heritage city of Rouen are giving permission/ licen to run this kind of fake hotels to cheat the people or travelers like us. I am not recommonding this hotel for any kind of traveler. Nothing
