Postmaster Hotel

This hotel is clean, historical, a great value, and fairly close to town. Also had a really nice breakfast included. We chose a suite with a built in sauna that made the experience even better. The staff was super kind to our dogs too. It was quite warm when we were there (midnight sun) and the air conditioning wasn’t keeping up. Overall not a big deal if we slept with the windows open. They supplied a fan for us as well.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was rich and satisfying. The bus stop right in front of the hotel was very convenient, with direct service to the airport. The walk from the hotel to the city center was not so scenic, as it wasn’t through the forest. Prices were quite high for a single night.

Its location and comfortable feel. I felt I could relax. Breakfast was great and the PostMaster Burger was delicious. Being Finland, a sauna.

The bed are amazing The room is well equipped, new and clean Location is good if you want to be near the train station, but can be far from downtown Staff are lovely Storage room is big elevator is charming At first when checking in, we were assigned a room with sofa bed and 2 bathrooms. But when we came back (around 8 pm), the sofa bed were not made yet, so the front desk change us to another room since there was no housekeeper at that time to do the bed for us. The new room has sauna but with only one bathroom and a real bed instead of a sofa bed. Unfortunately, i could not find the switch to turn the sauna on. As a result i could not use it. Breakfast is a bid sad, not very tasty.

We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights (on separate days) in the hotel. The location is best - just opposite the Rovaniemi bus station. We walked to Rovaniemi station with our luggage from the hotel. The staff was all very polite. We went to a different place for a day, and they kept our luggage free of charge for one night as well on the day of check out, as we had a late evening train. The rooms we booked (Double or Twin Room with City View) are spacious with provision for cooking - induction, microwave and lots of utensils. The breakfast spread was also very nice. There is a nice waiting lounge where you can wait. Definitely will prefer Postmaster Hotel again when we are back in Rovaniemi

We stayed in the superior room, which had also a little kitchenette. The size of the room was good, Bathroom was clean and newly renovated. The facility is really great. Restaurant leima is also OK. Breakfast menu was very good too! There is a really cool elevator, but people keep leaving the door open so it becomes out of use. Hotal can make more warnings or notes to prevent this.

The proximity to the center of town. Nothing.

Spacious Generally very good hotel to stay

It was a great hotel, sauna was amazing, very clean. The hotel went above an beyond for everything. we were not told their was a sprat entrance after the doors were locked. we should be informed of this especially when its really cold out.

The proper was Spick qnd span. Nice located in the city. 8mins drive to Santa Claus village and 5mins walk to the train station. The staffs are kind and supportive.

The breakfast had a wide variety of options, the staff at the reception was always friendly and helpful, the room was tidy and spacious with a small fridge and cups/plates/cutlery present.

The room was comfortable and was surprised by the fully equipped kitchenette. That was s bonus. It was a great location. The breakfast buffet had a range of options. Elevator was older so a bit intimidating.
