Simple Rewards Inn

This hotel is not one of your nicer places, but it’s clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast really needs to start earlier. It starts at 7:00. I’ve stayed here twice and I would stay here again.

Arriving for a 2-night stay in Aug 2026, I (adult male) mistakenly prepaid online for the wrong dates. The innkeeper promptly called the telephone number of the reservation service and fixed the issue at no extra cost and with a smile. Room and bath were very clean. Linens and bedding are better than comparable motels. Desk, recliner, iron, microwave and fridge were helpful extras. Great ice machine. That said, property is basic with worn, dated common areas and exteriors. Breakfast was very basic--waffles, danish, cereal, yogurt. Motel is good place to sleep-quiet and safe, convenient location. No elevator-every room involves steps to access--its sort of a split-level layout. -Great simple value but not for every traveler.

The desk clerk was very polite. The room was nice and it was clean. I liked the size of the refrigerator freezer. It was big enough to fit my ice packs in it. It’s close to the casino which I appreciated.

Beds were very firm so a bit uncomfortable for us. The AC unit is loud and turned on & off a lot during the night. It would be better if ability to leave fan running with the AC condenser coming on only when cool air needed to maintain temperature like most hotels. Didn't like the split-level layout where all rooms are either up 8 stairs or down 8 stairs. Prefer first floor with no stairs if no elevator available. The morning breakfast was good and the price for room was certainly good value for what you got. Location to rest of Ruidoso wasn't too bad - a little drive to the main street but we didn't mind it.

Property was definitely a good value for the price. Room was clean. The water pressure in the shower was great. The biggest problem I have with this place is that they don’t offer breakfast until 7:00am. Breakfast should start at least by 6:00am for the people that need to be somewhere early.

Great, clean, affordable hotel room for a quick fishing trip. Staff was very kind and helpful. Free breakfast was nice!

The man at the front desk was super nice. The room was clean and cool with the ac blasting cold air. The room even had extra towels and plenty of toiletries. The breakfast was continental typical but good with waffles, sausage biscuits, cereal and pastries (a definite plus for the area).

Very clean and pleasant staff. Would stay again!

The room was amazing. Just as advertised. The only reason why I didn't give an excellent review, was because of the shower. It's really small and I'm not a big man, but even for my height, it was really small. Aside of that, excellent room!

For a cheaper hotel in the area, we had a great experience. The whole night it was quiet, no weirdos hanging around the building. The only issue was a non handicapped lifted truck parked in the only handicapped spot in the back. (Thats a problem with whos vehicle it was not management or the hotels and understanable, i am handicapped) but the stay was marvelous especially for under $100 a night. Breakfast was great and the check in and out process was fast and easy. 10/10 recommend.

Very Friendly Staff at the front counter. Did not meet or experience any other staff; they seemed to have accomplished their duties completely unseen. Great location.. out of the hustle and bustle. Easy to access.

The hotel is centralized to many shops. It is close to downtown shopping streets.

We will be back. The room was very clean. The only issue was the TV had very little channels available.
