When we first arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the charming common area. We were greeted by Anastasia who was very helpful and super friendly. She showed us to our room which was also beautifully decorated. She then pointed out that there were chocolates on the bed, sherry in our room, as well as red/white wine, water, soda, as well as Snickerdoodles and Tea, all for free for us to enjoy, We were impressed. She pointed out breakfast would be at the neighboring main house starting at 8, which was ideal, as we wanted to have an early start for our long drive. We went for a walk, and found we were only two blocks from the main drag. As we settled down for the night with a sherry and a wine, we were already planning our next visit, So, what went wrong? The next morning, we went next door for breakfast and found the doors locked, and the lights off. Repeated ringing of the doorbell, knocking on the door, and phone calls to the inn-keepers phone (no answer and voice mail was full), all resulted in nothing. After 30 minutes, we gave up, got our things and left. We were not happy. To add insult to injury, when we wrote to let them know what happened, we got a “sorry, we will look into it”. That’s it! When we wrote again that they failed in the second B of BnB, and suggested a gift voucher for our next visit, no answer. Sad ending to a nice visit.

Superb location and recently refurbished bedroom with both a hot tub and a separate shower. Weak water pressure in shower. Blanket on bed had previous occupant’s lipstick on it, suggesting not cleaned before we arrived. Bed and breakfast building separate from main facility, meaning our building was unstaffed. Entry by code which, if forgotten, meant other guests banging loudly on front door at midnight to be let in. Not conducive to good sleep. Breakfast disappointing: despite explaining my wife is allergic to pork and I don’t like spicy sausage, both were served to us by the cook herself five minutes later!

I absolutely loved our stay. The breakfast was amazing. It’s different every day, we had a quiche on Friday morning with a homemade apple cinnamon scone 10/10. The room was amazing and neat and had cute little amenities. They had an iron and an ironing board which I used and also provided a fan if needed but the room was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great also. My only note would be the carpet, it seems as if it was never really cleaned. Other than that they had tea, coffee, sodas, water available to us at all times. I felt great and I am definitely coming back!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our 5 year dating anniversary. Checking in was very easy, and Lisa gave us not only details about both properties but also local recommendations for us to try! We stayed in Citrine and it was absolutely perfect for a couple who is only staying a couple of nights. Breakfast both mornings was DELICIOUS and you truly can't beat the price with all that is included! The sherry was delicious, complimentary sodas and water, the cold herbal towelettes, lavender pouches, and all the coffee and tea we could want! We even were given a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate, and it was a lovely start to our trip. There were several couples who hung around the parlor and chatted both nights we stayed (totally fun for couples who are more social...my boyfriend and I are really shy and didn't socialize much) which made it feel like a home and not a hotel. I will 100% be booking again, either here or the main parlor. I cannot recommend this place enough for a romantic getaway!

Hospitality of the hostess and staff, very welcoming. Other guests could be a bit loud in the shared main room after 9:00 pm.. no fault of the property whatsoever.

not any choices at breakfast, but had coffee and one juice, needed more towels but hard to find someone to ask. check in a little questionable looking where to go with door locked.

The staff was incredibly helpful upon checking in and throughout the stay. Lisa greeted us and was upfront that the property was undergoing recent renovations to the historic home, including our room. She was amazing at explaining everything about the home and made us feel like family! The breakfast was out of this world!! Loved getting to sit on the front porch and soaking up the beautiful morning weather.

This was such a cute place! Lisa was so personable upon our check in. The room itself was so comfortable and had a historic aesthetic. Coffee, water, and wine are readily available along with fresh cookies! The included breakfast was also fresh and delicious!

It was so cute and charming! Perfectly located right in the historic district! Our room was facing the road and it was very loud at all hours from cars and people walking by.

Lisa was fantastic! She greeted us at the door and explained where everything was, showed us to our room (even carried my bag). We had homemade chocolate chip cookies, wine, bottled waters, listened to music, worked on a puzzle, etc. all provided by the B & B. They even had aromatherapy face towels and sachets to put under your pillow. Our bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and there was just nothing else we could think of that they did not provide. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Lisa!
