Beautiful setting amongst the vineyards. Very accommodating and super helpful staff who are there when/if you need them, but not hovering around you all day. Modern common kitchen, walk-in shower with ample soap & shampoo, comfortable bed, homey feel after you settle in and wind down. It’s a bit remote if you don’t have a car and the weather is not good for a long walk into town. There was an extreme heatwave during our stay so we chose to stay inside and rest.

Clos des Jacobins was an intimate B&B situated in a beautiful vineyard. Our first evening, we had the whole place to ourselves. It was extremely peaceful and romantic. Leila took fabulous care of us, providing a nice breakfast every morning. We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the vineyards to Saint Emilion. If we ever have the pleasure of coming back to the area we would stay here again. It was fantastic, I have no complaints.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay on the serene and beautiful vineyard. We felt like we had a castle to ourselves as it was very quiet. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. There was a lot of cupboard space in the bedroom and in the bathroom to fully unpack your clothes and toiletries, if desired. We also had access to the kitchen, sitting room, billiards room and swimming pool. We would love to come back and feel like royalty again! Nothing

Nothing at all.

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was excellent. Laila was excellent.

Ideal location just outside the village of St. Emilion. Two-bedroom guest house with pool, steps away from the picturesque main house, was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous and complete. This guest house was comfortable and perfectly situated, however its furnishings were spare and incomplete. Kitchen was sparsely equipped. A few added touches such as artwork and decor would have made it seem more like its main house and the idyllic location it was advertised as.

Watching the sun rise over the vineyard from our bedroom window was amazing. So was eating our takeout dinner on the terrace. A lovely facility with attractive public spaces. Kitchen was amazing and so was breakfast Swimming pool looked like it needed some cleaning. The little robot was busy

Beautiful location right in the vineyards. And the associated restaurant is quite lovely too. Great food. Great bed. Breakfast was wonderful.

Location

Great small property overlooking vineyards and very close to St. Emilion. Historical building and comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Not much to dislike, except that it’s not so easy to check in, there was nobody on the property, but after a phone call, it was all sorted out. We found the key as instructed, and we could go to the room

Lovely place to stay just outside St Emillion. 20 minute walk through vineyards into town. Very nice breakfast. Recommended.

Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and everything (including the bed and bedding) was extremely comfortable. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at the chateau after spending time in St Emilion. The town is a 5-minute drive from the chateau, and we found free, all-day parking near the Utile market in town. It was all very convenient. The staff at the chateau was very attentive and friendly. Laïla was there to welcome us and to see to our every need in a professional and charming way. The continental breakfast was outstanding! The scrambled eggs were especially tasty. We highly recommend Clos des Jacobins for anyone visiting the lovely village of St Emilion. We were not able to get the wifi connection to work for our laptops in our room, which was in a separate building by the pool, but we were able to connect to the Internet in the chateau, so it really wasn't a problem. We honestly don't have any complaints!

Wish we could have stayed another night

We really enjoyed our stay at Clos de Jacobins. We stayed in the separate house with living room which was very tranquil and relaxing. The communication with Laila throughout was always prompt and very kind. And the breakfast was very good: a variety of pastries, baguette, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, tasty jam, fresh orange juice and so on. You can't ask for more while enjoying the countryside around Saint Emilion. We wish we could have stayed longer... Thank you! Nothing.

Disappointing. The shower was broken so to the toilet seat. No milk was available to make a cup of tea at breakfast time and no cereals were available

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel. The location was fantastic, and we loved the intimate feel of the place, with only three rooms available—perfect for booking as a family. The comfort level was excellent, and Emma was very kind, making us feel right at home. The breakfast in the morning was handmade!. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located stay with a warm and personal touch, this is a wonderful choice. The only minor downside was the lack of amenities and facilities, but overall, the experience was great!!!
