Beautiful location. Amazing room.

The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast (additional cost) had a wonderful range of options in a nice setting and was worth the extra cost. Our room was rather run down, lots of cobwebs and dust, torn lampshades. The bathroom was surprisingly outdated and of amateurish construction. We were very saddened by these things. Our room was large and airy, equipped with bathrobes and slippers, which was nice. Our room had a lovely view of the back garden and pond. The grounds seem to have been rather neglected, but still charming. However, for the price point and in comparison to the property photos, we felt this property was not what we had expected.

This is a lovely property with exceptionally caring and helpful staff. We experienced some travel hiccups that were unusual, and they so kindly provided helpful assistance. We were unable to have dinner at the restaurant, but the breakfast was great. I wouldn't say I "didn't like" this, but, rather, I would observe that in some areas, the hotel could benefit from some updating, editing and sprucing up. That said, the somewhat eclectic furnishings in the rooms and the various items in the hallway upstairs, also created a feeling that you were more staying in someone's home in their guest room - than in a hotel; and I think some travelers would definitely prefer, and go out of their way to find a place with that vibe.

Wonderful, far above expectations for a French breakfast. A slightly bigger room, but this did not detract from the experience, I will ask for a larger room next visit and there will be a next visit!

Beautiful chateau with lovely gardens and close to St. Malo, excellent and very friendly service, tasty breakfast. Nothing.

My husband and I were in awe of the hotel’s history and authentic architecture! The grounds were gorgeous for a leisurely morning walk. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant/kitchen on site was closed during our one night stay so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy an unforgettable supper experience.

Well renovated old chateau with surrounding territory. Very quite and relaxing. Rooms kept in the old style but yet very comfortable. Very nice breakfast, diner a la carte for separate price available.
