Staff can arrange a variety of activities including bicycle hire, golf, tennis and water sports. Live music is held on the premises every Friday and showcases the best of local talent. This was our 4th stay at Les Douvres Hotel and it was just as perfect as our previous stays. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and accommodating and the restaurant delicious (and very popular). This hotel is great value for money and I’d recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Thank you everyone at Les Douvres.

Loved the way it looked inside all Old looking The shower took ages to get hot

Poor lighting in bathroom
-
A bit basic as was the breakfast

We had a nice superior room although the sound travelled through the ceiling , above us were two boys who you could hear walking about and talking . This was until midnight.

The communal areas were lovely and very nicely decorated. The food was also excellent and the staff very helpful. The room (1) we were in was quite tired with an old stained carpet; we wondered if it was a “dog friendly” room. The shower also leaked. As breakfast wasn’t included in the price we would probably stay in La Barbarie on any future trips as it would have worked out cheaper.

Front facing room upstairs was delightful - larger than the average, lots of windows, bright & welcoming. The pub downstairs serves tremendous meals (proper vegetables!) & staff all super friendly. Great local feel to the bar which welcomes dogs also.
