Set in a 15th-century farmhouse, the renovated Farmhouse Hotel and Restaurant offers contemporary 4-star accommodations, superb cuisine and free Wi-Fi. There is also a swimming pool and leafy gardens. The Farmhouse Hotel offers elegant, air-conditioned bedrooms with luxury private bathrooms, featuring under-floor heating and fluffy bathrobes. All rooms have a plasma-screen TV, bespoke furniture and sumptuous, individual decor. With extensive grounds and a spacious sun terrace, the hotel also has an award-winning restaurant. The menus are creative and varied, and feature fresh, local produce. Delicious breakfasts are also available daily, and have recently won a Visit Britain Breakfast Award. The delightful, country house hotel is surrounded by beautiful Guernsey countryside, and is just a short walk from Petit Bôt Bay. There are a number of spectacular cliff walks nearby, and The Little Chapel is within walking distance. There is free on-site parking available. The heated swimming pool is open seasonal (mid-May to September)

Room disappointing with balcony overlooking roof, and aircon units, overhead shower did not work until repaired later and generally a bit tired. Hotel video is a bit misleading. We were advised before arrival that there was an event happening on the Saturday evening, which was not a problem, however the marquee erected on the hotel terrace remained in place until the following Friday, it was only then the terrace became available for eating and drinks. A 10% service charge was added to the food menu which is not apparent initially. The hotel is open to non residents for food etc, so Sunday lunch time becomes very busy, as the pool is also available for use.

We have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world, the only thing that stops The Farmhouse being 5 star is there is no lift, however this is not a problem as the staff happily take luggage to and from your room on request. There is absolutely nothing not like,fabulous rooms (the suites are worth the little extra) but it’s the staff that make this hotel so special. Nothing is too much trouble, professional, smart, efficient always with a smile every single member of staff that we met. The housekeeping team need to be praised everything spotless every day. We stayed at this hotel for 18 nights so had a lot of time to find faults, there were none. And it’s worth mentioning the breakfasts are amazing, a great choice perfectly cooked. The cost of the rooms is equivalent to to a 3 star hotels around so extremely good value. To reiterate it’s the staff that made our stay so special, whenever in Guernsey this would always be our choice of hotel.

Food and service was excellent. Staff extremely helpful and attentive. Lacked space for our luggage in the bedroom and we didn't have vast quantities of bags. And room needed a bit of maintenance - nothing major.

Beautiful hotel in lovely location. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful - the room was fabulous with lovely bathroom and huge comfy bed. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

The staff were very helpful and Courteous. The hotel in general needs a make over. New carpet, paint in places, a lounge would be nice. While these did not take away from the overall stay. These would add to the experience.

Friendly, helpful staff, great service, good food A tiny thing, but tea and coffee and kettle in a strange place in the wardrobe and not easy to move or access kettle.
