Best Western Plus St. Simons

We booked 2 nights for 5 people in advanced. only received 3 towel sets which is no problem so we go and ask for more towels and they said we only Put that count in and I explained how many people we have so they agreed We go and take the pull out bed for our 5th person it had no sheets or covers mind you this is at 2 am we came in late from some vacation time we go and ask for more bedding they reply we only serve rooms of 4 people . Even tho we booked and payed for all of us as 5 people in the paper work even payed 400 deposit, I did not argue we did eventually get them for our 15vyear old , they asked us not to take towels to the pools because they supply them we had no towels to dry off with either. Also we had a nother tenant leaving our room when we were coming back told staff they never came back to us and apologize or explain. Also I had my own personal cup for my juice I asked if I could put juice in she said yes then the breakfast staff made a sean about it embarrassing Very disappointed 😞 also ended paying more than I should have . Ended up being charged more than other over stays

Bathroom was not totally clean and had mold on some of the grout. Don't stay on the 2nd floor as the curbs to get your luggage up to the elevator were not ramps that are useful for luggate. We asked for the first floor and were told that we could not as the rooms on the first floor were mostly vacant. Only 1 night for us, but i would not stay for more than a night.

The Best Western on St. Simons is much more than a motel it really is more of a mini resort. Although this is an older property it is clean and well maintained. The location is secluded and quiet and the pool area is what makes this what I call a mini resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful they greet you with a smile, not just at check in but every time they see you.

Breakfast lady is very cheap, she's uses waffle cups for juice. Breakfast is super cheap and they don't like to refill the food and drink.

The pool was fantastic and the breakfast was outstanding. Staff very friendly and helpful especially in the breakfast area.

Great place. Very clean and quite. The staff was great. Good breakfast. The room was perfect. Everything worked as it should. The landscape was amazing. We will come back again on our next trip.

This property is relaxing. Had a gorgeous pool. Bed was comfy. The staff were great. The breakfast food had hot and cold options. Simon’s Island is cute and charming, the pier has beautiful views of other islands and a bridge. We even saw a couple of dolphins. The lighthouse was opened, a bit steep to climb but lovely once you get up. Loved our stay here. Wish we had more time to enjoy the surroundings.

The property was older and needed some up grades. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good.

The fridge was broken. The shower curtain was broken, the bed lamps were broken. The pool was wonderful. The breakfast was great. The room was mediocre and uncomfortable. I don't think that I would stay here again.

Not so clean rooms but the staff was incredibly friendly and the pool was beautiful.

The staff was incredible, excellent customer service, and very friendly. Each staff member I encountered was courteous . THe fake plants at the outside the check-n area. They were faded, looked unprofessional, and downgraded the otherwise lovely grounds.

The front desk staff was super friendly and gave me great recommendations for what to do and where to eat on my one night in town (I was on a business trip). I had a great time walking around the beachfront and getting some great food. The room was comfy. I got great rest and got up and out the door early for my appt that day. Had everything I needed (iron, etc.). If I were being picky, the shower curtain kept peeking open so there was a little water pooled on the floor but I just wiped it up with the floor mat.

Elevator was very hot, needs a fan or AC. Also housekeeping could've been a bit more thorough, beds were left unmade while away.

Great stay again!
