Salsedine Sea View

The room was pretty big, stylish, comfortable. Sea view from the balcony added charm to the room. There was a kitchen with everything you need to cook at home if you need to. Marco was super good host. He was very helpful and took time to reply to multiple messages and requests! I really enjoyed staying in this appointment! Location was great too. Close to the train station and to the port. As well as walking distance to the old town, while you can enjoy calm neighborhood. The beach is close too.

Good view for money, the host Marco was really nice. There is a free parking right where the apartment is but you need a little bit of luck to find (we found). There are so many keys ?

The room was clean. Complete kitchen and good fridge. Nice view to the sea. Close to the railway station. Eurospin store at the bottom of the building, really convenient and economical. Sufficient linens for us to sleep in separate beds. Good wi-fi. Elevator to the 5th floor was a great asset. Air conditioning in the room was ok. The host told us to take our own garbage out upon leaving. Coming from a different continent we had no clue how or where to dispose of it. Pillows were too hard for our taste. Others may find them ok. The sponge and dishcloth to wash the dishes were not new. They should be provided new for each guest for hygienic reasons.

We enjoyed our stay at the property that was clean and offers the view of the Mediterranean Sea. The check-in process was unusually complicated. First, no regular staff is onsite. Also, we were required to arrive at the property within certain time. Otherwise, late check-in outside such regular timeframe would be subject to additional fee. Regarding breakfast, the property is advertised on Booking.com with "exceptional breakfast" or "an Italian breakfast is served daily at the property," which we paid for. In fact, we had to go offsite to a bar/coffee shop across the street where we were limited with only one cup of coffee (no refill) and one piece of regular pastry such as chocolate croissant. And, we would have to pay separately for better pastries. By the way, all other properties where we stayed during this European trip serve onsite buffet breakfast, namely: hot foods (e.g. scrambled egg and sausages), cold foods (e.g., hams and cheeses), salads, varieties of pastries, breads, yogurts, fruits, nuts, juices, milk and coffees.

We had a pleasant stay at the apartment. Marco is very friendly and helpful especially sharing about good food recommendations. We had some issues with the water boiler and it was fixed promptly as well. The apartment is walking distance to the ferry terminal. Great location and had a wonderful time at Salerno.

The location of the property is perfect and the sea view from the window and the balcony is amazing. Also, the supermarket is nearby.

Spacious and it is kind of Airbnb style property. Nice and relaxing. Quite far away from the port and main station. 10-15mins walk but it will take longer if you have luggages. And you have to bring your luggage up many stairs then only you can reach the elevator area.

The property was outstanding and beyond our expectations. The host Marco is a absolutely a gem person, very friendly and his hospitality was the best we have seen till date. He helped picking my baggage on the stairs as it was heavy and also shared some useful tips and info regarding local travel and food options. He was very attentive on whatsapp as well. The room has everything you need right from kitchen, fridge sofa, chairs, AC etc. And the best part is the sea view from the balcony. There is also a grocery store below the building. N/A. There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

It's a very clean apartment and it's close proximity to the ferry and train station make it very convenient to visit the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Paestum. The 2 steep flights of stairs made it very hard to bring up luggage, though the host came to help carry them down was helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Salsedine Sea View with my friends, it is perfect for 3 people. We loved the terrace and that the apartment was well equiped so we were able to cook. There are many beaches nearby the location and the nightlife is also only 20 mins away. Marco is a really kind host and he let you know everything. We liked everything.

We really enjoyed our stay at Salsedine! It’s close to the train station and the port, so it was easy to take day trips to the Amalfi coast and Pompeii. It’s also super close to the beach and has a supermarket right beneath it.

Exceptional

The apartment is located near the bus and train station. There is an elevator in the house. Nice view of the sea. Cleanliness of the apartment. Sufficient amount of towels. The host was a very pleasant man, but he exaggerated it even for an Italian. On vacation you especially want to rest and not constantly answer and solve the host's questions and offers.

Modern and bright furniture, near the bus station, grocery store right around the corner, good recommendations from the host little bugs in the room, shower was broken and bathroom door was stuck when I was in there, view into the inner courtyard, outside of the city center, beach is near but not useable

Excelent place to stay, clean, very close to the train station. Supermarket very close. Marco was very nice and helpful, he gave us good restaurant recomandations. Some small problems with these: the bathroom sink and there was water leaking from the freezer in the fridge. Also, it would be useful a washing machine, if you stay more than 5 days. These things would make Salsedine a 10 of the 10 place. I would love to come back :)
