The location was very convenient to the train station and the ferry terminal. It was a bit further from the historical centre of Salerno, however. This was not an issue for me as I used Salerno mainly as starting point for day trips on the Amalfi Coast and towards Pompei. The host was very welcoming, and very proactive. She made my stay in Salerno wonderful! Everything was fantastic! I was a bit surprised at first that my private bathroom was outside my room (I'm fairly sure it was in the description and I just missed it), but it was very close to my room and still felt very private.

Large 'room' beautifully furnished. We liked the fact that we were greeted by the owner on check in (check out was also overseen by the owner) as opposed to an impersonal check in where you access the keys from a box. Nothing

It was super convenient for all travel, bus train and ferry. And the rooms are gorgeous! Modern ammenities and a super comfortable bed.

The inside of the B&B was very clean and cute. The proprietress was lovely . The historic portion was nice for a day with many cute shops and restaurants. The clothing prices were less than other tourist locations. The people were kind and accommodating. We did not like and were apprehensive about the location. It’s close to a very dirty section of the sea. Our bathroom was so cute and nice but was across the hall so one must unlock bedroom door, pass through hallway to go in. Although VERY clean, there was a “bathroom” smell which was unpleasant.

The room was really nice, with air conditioner, big bathroom (just a pity outside the room, but was super quiet int he house so for me wasn't any problem). I felt like at home not at some kind of hotel :)

True Bed and Breakfast- great location, nice room, with amenities, awesome breakfast with personalized attention from the host. Will stay again.

The owner was very kind and helpful. The place is very close to the train station, and the room was more than sufficient. If you don't turn on the AC, you can hear the trains at night, which can wake you if you are a light sleeper.

Host was great and very helpful, jacuzzi bath was amazing, close enough to old town and trains - do need earplugs at night as close to the trainline and busy road.

Our hostess was very kind and always available for help. She made us breakfast everyday which we enjoyed. The room is very cozy and had everything we needed. If you keep the window open, then the train noise might get annoying. Best option is to close the window and use AC !

Salerno is a great base for visiting the region, we took a ferry to Amalfi and a train to Pompeii. The Crypt in Salerno cathedral is well worth a visit.

The hostess Marina was warm, welcoming and very helpful. The accomodation had all facilities and was very comfortable. The property is well located with a short walk to the train station, and pleasant walk into the main centre. I was easily able to access further day trips in the area and along the coast. A very pleasant stay.

While a separate apartment, we were guests in the home. Beautifully finished and elegant. The entrance and hallways are sometimes dimly lit

From the moment we arrived, we felt cared for, by Marina. Lift access was much appreciated, the breakfasts were a lovely surprise and the apartment was spacious and well decorated. Nothing was too much trouble for our host. She went out of way to recommend things to do, provided maps and made written recommendations for our onward travel to Sicily. There is considerable noise from the street and trains at night, but double glazing takes care of 50% of the sound. We recognise this is beyond the control of the host.

Host was so lovely and helpful! Great location and communication was excellent!
