Spacious and clean room. The host arranged an extra single bed on our request, since we desired separate beds and the double bed could not be split up. Discount to a restaurant in the city (Il Tegamino). Nice bathroom and shower. Friendly host, he gave us lots of recommendations on what to do and see around Salerno. Breakfast was pre-packed with food like biscuits, nutella and jam, milk, yogurt and more. While the quantity was certainly abundant and refurbished every day, the chosen products were a bit repetitive. The host mentioned that the breakfast has to be pre-packed but it would be nice to have higher quality products.

Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, clean, and large bathrooms. The owner is nice and accommodating. Helped us find parking and explained a bit about the city.

Very nice area of Salerno; and a great hidden apartment in the old building. It is 1/2 floor down from the entranceway; and has a side garden to enjoy a coffee in the morning. Hector was the host/ owner and tried to do a great job. He over did it in some small areas, but hard to complain about his intent and overall presentation. Also met his Mom at a nearby restaurant, and had a great dinner meal there. Whole main room/ breakfast room was too crowded with items/ table items/ display items. You couldn't really do anything in the room/ at the tables as too many things were laid out. There is a nice sofa in one corner; and that is where you have to go to relax. Espresso machine needs instructions for the buttons, but does make a nice cup of Espresso, once you figure it out. It over flowed onto the floor, so I wiped it up; and that was the best cleansing the far corners of the breakfast room had gotten in a year!

Lovely large room tastefully decorated and we enjoyed the private terrace. A lot of thought had gone into what guests would want. Nothing was too much trouble for the host and we absolutely loved Salerno. A beautiful city and the Duomo was beautiful. Lots of great shops and restaurants (we especially enjoyed the host’s family restaurant). Definitely recommend Civico Cinque. Nothing

This B&B is in a great location, less than a 10 min. walk to the train station and the port. It is also just one block up from the pedestrian mall and a couple of blocks to the old section. There is also a self serve laundromat less than a 1 min. walk away. The local buses are a few steps away. And tons of restaurants are just minutes away. There is also an elevator! The host was very welcoming and knowledgable about Salerno. He gave us a map and told us what was where and what there was to see/do. He also owns a restaurant a few blocks away and gives a discount to his guest when you eat there. The room was large and bright, with direct access to a private patio. There was lots of storage in the room and a safe. There is a communal fridge in the common area. The bathroom was a little small but was updated and had everything you needed. Would go back and highly recommend. Great stay! We didn't really like the breakfast as it was all bread and pastry and everything was wrapped (the host explained it was the law but we didn't really understand). There was however plenty of it and you could grab something during the day if you wanted. Although it was great to have the direct access to the patio, it would have been even better if the screen was not broken (maybe it's a North American thing - ALL our windows and doors have screens).

The host is super friendly and we enjoyed our time in the property. The self-served breakfast was what you basically need for breakfast. The host has also offered anything you can possibly ask for. In general, our experience was excellent. Nothing to mention.

The young gentleman was very attentive and was always asking if everything was ok. He really cared that everything was good. He even went out of his way to a get different breakfast for my sister because she has a special diet. Spoke great English and helped us to figure out things. They own a restaurant in town and gave us a discount when we ate there. It was close to the place and the food was excellent. No complaints

Ettore came out and helped get our bags into the house. Nice little private patio (it borders a restaurant which is open until late). Plenty of packaged cookies and sugar pastries were left for us in the breakfast room. There’s no place to stop the car and load/unload luggage. We don’t usually eat sweets and would have preferred some fresh fruit or whole wheat toast for breakfast.

Location is great, right in town easy to reach shops and restaurants. lovely big room and outside terrace. Ettore the host was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Went above and beyond! Electric kettle in the room with mugs supplied. Fridge and coffee machine available to use in the communal breakfast room. Croissants and small cakes supplied and laid out for help yourself breakfast. We did day trips to Pompeii and Rome by train. Very easy - train station in walking distance from apartment. Great days out! Would have liked to have access to a washing machine. Used the local laundrette which was fine - not a big issue.

Private, clean, generous food, and good hospitality Elevator and key system were a little confusing.

The property is amazing, really comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces, location is next to the pedestrian zone. Breakfast was nice, served in common dining room. The host is also very welcoming, gave us great recommendations for sightseeing. Highly recommended!

The location was great and so was the breakfast and coffee. It was pretty private for a B&B which was great. The patio and the room decor were both very pretty and the person who welcomed us was very kind. Small issue with the toaster not working properly and the fridge was off for part of our stay

The entrance is a bit dark.

Very good location in Salerno, host was very friendly and informative. Breakfast was good too. The shower at one point went cold, but it didn’t really matter as it was a hot day and the cold water was refreshing
