    Very clean

Only downside was paying for wifi but I think if you’re a Marriott member it’s free. And overnight valet is $50. No sauna or pool.

    1. It was convenient to the Days of 47 rodeo grounds 2. It was convenient to sites in downtown Salt Lake City 3. It was convenient to public transportation 4. It came VERY highly rated This is a new (2024) hotel that is adjacent to and a part of the old Union Pacific Railroad Station. A cool old station that opened in 1909 with high ceilings, murals at the end, stained glass windows (railroad themed), a bar and check-in. The staff was first rate; friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The hotel portion is semi-circular with slightly curved room walls (which I liked). Unfortunately, our room overlooked the station, so our view was non-existent. The room is on the larger side of most hotels, with a couch, king size bed, closet and chest of drawers. The bathroom was it's own separate area. Walk in and a night light illuminated under the single sink. Large shower and a separate toilet room finished it off. Standard amenities (soap, lotion, shower supplies) were included and thick towels! The bed was very comfortable! The room was very clean (as should be expected for the cost). The bad: south of the hotel are a lot of homeless people (which surprised me). They kept to themselves, but something to be aware of at night. The bathroom is all black, including the light switches - hard to see The restaurant/bar don't take cash. Parking - expensive valet or you walk a block to public. Overall - a great hotel!

I was completely blown away by our stay at the Asher Adams Hotel. The building itself is beautiful, and our room was impeccable, but what truly made our experience so memorable was the exceptional customer service. Ana went above and beyond to accommodate us during our anniversary trip. She was thoughtful, kind, and genuinely went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and cared for. She also helped us find wonderful places to eat and suggested things to do while we were in the area, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Beautiful surroundings are always appreciated, and leave a memory. It is people like Ana who turn a lovely hotel stay into a truly special memory. We are very grateful for the care she showed us and would gladly stay at Asher Adams again. That we had to leave!

Only downside was that they charge for WiFi. Today, even most lower tier hotel offer WiFi for free. That would make it easy to access the WiFi. As a member, it was free for me, but I still had to go through the hassle of connecting. I kept getting error messages so I changed my password. Then I got a message that the password I just changed was incorrect. This kept happening over and over. It should just connect by my room number.

The Asher Adams, Autograph Collection is a decent place to stay in Salt Lake City. This hotel is located in the historic Salt Lake City Union Pacific Depot that once served as the Amtrak station in SLC. It now has a nice shopping area behind the hotel called the Gateway. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are nice and quiet. The elevators operate pretty quickly and efficiently. It did take me a minute or two to get hot water in the bathroom sink and shower and the configuration of the toilet and shower are in different stalls and are not situated together in one bathroom as is standard in most hotels. That may not be to everybody's liking. The hotel also lacks a convenience store or vending machines but it does have a good coffee shop as well as two restaurants, a bar and a gym. However, if you're looking for a pool, you'll want to stay elsewhere. There maybe better places to stay in SLC or Utah in general, but you wouldn't go wrong staying at Asher Adams especially if you want to be in close proximity to the Delta Center which is right across the street.

Beautiful historic hotel. So conveniently located and so very clean.

Honestly I really don't want to bash the place too much because it was not where I supposed to stay in the first place or would I probably ever stay there just because it's extremely overpriced however the staff was incredibly accommodating and very kind. The rooms were nothing to write home about nothing more than better than a room at the comfort inn or anything of $150 value versus their charge of $316. unfortunately I don't want to put all the blame on them cuz it's not necessarily their fault this was not what I paid for and what I paid for was exceptional this was actually more money than what I paid for but I didn't get what I paid for somewhere else so they were actually doing me a favor. On the bright side the staff was exceptional Anna Cleopatra she was on point she went out of her way to accommodate me and make note of the glass and anyone that I talked to was great the man who brought me the complimentary coffees not only were they delicious but he was exceptional as well so that being said I would love to give it a five but I'd be lying so I could only give it a three I personally wouldn't stay there again but it does have a lot to offer if you can afford that other than that it's pretty standard and basic.
