Garbage on the ground and under the bed. Showed up after a long concert and the front desk was locked out of the office and couldn't check us in until an hour later when she got a different key to get in.

The general manager was awesome to work with. My plans changed because of a death in the family and he was very understanding and helpful with reimbursement.

Hotel felt sketchy. The door didn’t properly lock. The worst part was the parking lot. The hotel shares a parking lot with chic fil a. It was very difficult to get into and out of lot. I would not recommend this hotel.
-
Cool location, lots of walkable eating and shopping, but not super helpful or friendly staff, filthy floors, poor quality linens.
-
Room was clean. Staff friendly. Hotel somewhat run down.
-
It’s a budget hotel so don’t expect perfection. Staff was very nice. Location was right in the middle of stores, restaurants, etc. and safe neighborhood

Door had gaps all around it where you could see through it. There was a naked homeless person bathing right outside. There were beetles all over coming into room.

I did not stay at this hotel. Receptionist was the absolute worst I have ever encountered. Demanded an ID from my spouse which he did not realize was expired. In my many years of staying at hotels, we've only ever needed to present 1 valid ID so I'm not sure why she needed both my husband and I. The lady who checked in before me was not asked to present other adult ids so seemed very prejudice/racist which I hope that was not the case. We arrived late which I had called ahead to let them know since we had been travelling all day. But she rudely turned us away when she noticed my husband's ID was expired. I had my valid ID and credit cards so not sure why it was an issue. We had been traveling all day and was so tired and she had no sympathy what so ever for my family and I. She said "it wasn't her problem" also mentioned she was the bottom of the barrel since she worked night shifts. She was very upset and shouldn't be working in hospitality as she had none. I asked for a refund and said there was nothing she can do to help me. Never ever going to book a stay at this hotel. Worst customer service experience of my life. It was very sad. We've still been traveling so have not had a chance to call manager to discuss how to get a refund. And part of me rather just let it go and just pray for this lady. She seemed like her life isn't great but she shouldn't be taking it out on customers. If she hates her job so much then she should find another place to work.

Some staff members were very helpful.
-
Clean, comfortable room. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Continental breakfast was nice to start the day.
-
Very friendly staff and close to a lot.
-
Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings.
-
The staff were friendly and efficient. It was an excellent location for a quick stay right at Sugar House area. The grab and go coffee/snacks were sufficient for early birds.
-
The property was clean and in a convenient area. My only complaint is the noise. I was woken up many times each night/early morning. Sometimes it sounded like maybe cleaning carts rolling but it was very frequent and loud.

Travelers, beware: if there’s any chance you’ll be checking in after 11 PM, do not book this hotel. I find it hard to believe the front desk is so busy that no one could call to confirm my arrival, or that there isn’t a backup system in place — like a lockbox for key pickup, similar to what many Airbnbs offer. Because of this, I lost my reservation and my money with no way to get either back. I do not recommend this hotel to other travelers.
-
Exterior of property is poorly maintained. Inside rooms sufficient.
-
Don’t have high hopes on this one. Bare minimum of everything, including “breakfast”. Extremely dated and noisy.
-
Close to everything convenient

This hotel served its purpose. It was a clean place to stay. My only complaint is that the shower didn’t drain well and filled up the tub.
-
The first room we were given smelled like smoke. We requested a different room. But that one didn’t have working AC so we left. It was better to lose $120 and pay for the other hotel than stay there.
