Room was fine - hot shower with great water pressure, working TV, comfortable bed, and most importantly, good AC, as temps outside were in the mid 90's. Could use more accessible outlets. Exterior areas of hotel need some work. Elevator didn't have working AC and overall is in bad shape, including some graffiti.

Terrible stay and staff was ridiculous!

A very nice place to stay and affordable, I recommend the Metropolitan Hotel to those who are looking for value and a comfortable stay.

Staff needs to be more supportive and proactive

Our remote did not work for the tv even though we checked the batteries. Lots of hairs in the beds, and the bathroom.

They didnt have the room that I paid for, because they were "renovating" I was the one that had to bring it to THEOR attention..

I really liked this hotel rooms they had everything you needed as far as fridge microwave and coffee machine in the room, the rooms were very clean and homey and for the price of the stay was the best part. I'm in Ogden now but I will be staying there if I make it back out there. Great place 4 SHO. 💯💗💋

Place to sleep and a shower is all one can expect

The room I finally received was sort of clean. The first room they gave me wasn't even cleaned yet. The beds had clean sheets, the floor was semi clean. They tried to give nice soap but it was a Mango soap and I'm allergic to Mango. But, you're in a SLC go buy some soap. lol The shades on the window was broken but my son fixed those. Their room didn't have the door guard lock on it. They ended up shoving the table and chairs against their door. Their window had hand prints on them that made you think someone was trying to get in. We stayed 2 nights since it was inexpensive and more or less clean. The first morning there was a police officer in the parking lot. That was comforting! It's just a cheap hotel with bare but semi clean rooms and the shower had almost no pressure. You get what you pay for.

The beds are comfy. The staff can be helpful. The location is absolutely fantastic for me. I wish they had a more well rounded lost and found set up. I left a hat and hoodie there. It really should've been deposited at a location near the front desk and one shouldn't have to hope you can catch the house cleaning staff to get it. But also, I didn't get those items back. I do wish the equipment was more consistent. One or two rooms seem to have a de-mistrr on the bathroom mirrors. And I'm really not fond of the Wizard in Oz poppy scene paintings in the rooms. They really could replace those with something more consistent with the esthetic. Overall, I do like the place.

Very good

The location and outdoor access to rooms with plenty of parking. The bed was hard, the sheets were dirty, the room was old and falling apart. The shower didnt work. There was no breakfast. The elevator didn't work. The lobby was a mess. The rooms smelled. The staff was unprofessional.

Great location easy to get about Lift was real slow

The property was rubbed down, not maintained AT ALL (a fresh coat of paint would go a long way to start)! The young man at the desk was polite. The property obviously has MANY permanent residents. We did not feel safe, and was worried for our car. NEVER have I had hotel staff go and check my room before my deposit money was returned. Not ONE picture even came close to what was advertised.

The staff are very helpful and promptly address customers’ needs.
