Rooms were very clean, nicely appointed and had just the right amount of space and amenities to meet traveler’s needs. The music room sitting area was a treat with a large array of classical music albums to select for listening pleasure. And the many options for refreshments (coffee/ tea to mineral water to wine) made for a lovely offering at the hotel. The staff were relaxed while managing to meet all needs of travelers. Would absolutely recommend!

The hotel was clean. The single rooms were tiny. They had no air conditioning & there was a heatwave and they faced the street where was was anti-social noise from night revellers & neighbours across the street playing piano until late at night & again early in the morning. Reception upon arrival & departure was unmanned. So, had to wait to check in & check out.

Very clean. Nice staff. Excellent location between rail station and the city core. Pillows were ok.

A fabulous stay. Loved the location. Right in the heart of Salzburg and walking distance to many of the major attractions and restaurants. The hotel was very quaint and located on a quiet side street so we were able to get a good nights sleep which was very important to us. Excellent service by the hotel staff. We were very pleased and can’t think of one negative thing about our stay.

Location is not bad, quiet. It’s an old hotel so it does have some charm. I am sure I booked ad it was a slightly better value than most. Salzburg is an expensive hotel city anywhere near the old town. No Ac and no fridge in room. Front desk did store some medication that is best refrigerated, and there is a fridge in the public space that is fine to store drinks. AC should not have been a problem in May, but we were in the middle of a record breaking heat wave. Parking is a 5 minute walk.

no electric kettle

No electric kettle in room. Have to go to lobby to make water warm, which is prefered by us.

There was a nice salon where we sat to have coffee and tea in the morning and in the evening. We found the hotel convenient to walking around the city and to the train station. The staff was very nice and communicative when we had difficulty with our arrival by train. It helped that that Elijah who was there at the time knew English and understood our issue and was able to give us suggestions for getting to town.
-
A comfortable room with plenty of amenities at the property - living room with library, bar, outdoor garden. You can really make yourself at home! Also very convenient to the train station but still a completely quiet location on a side street. The next time I visit I’ll have more time to relax and enjoy!

The hotel is just perfect for a short or long stay. Excellent location - 10-15 min walking to the main railway station and the old town, very kind and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and comfortable room and facilities. Great for staying for business or leisure, for single or family travel! There is nothing that we didn't like!

Breakfast was great. Hotel is centrally located. I had some work and the place was just 5 min walk from this hotel Room was small, just big enough to adjust one person. I stayed one night so it was not a problem.

This property is in a great location. Loved the small lounge and bar that you could use during your stay. The lounge offered complimentary tea and coffee. Would have preferred to have tea and coffee in the room but as rooms are on the smaller size, I can understand why they have done it this way. Rooms rather small, and you had to book in for your room to be serviced. We kept forgetting to do this so room wasn’t serviced over our 4 night stay. Had breakfast one morning. The charge was €22 which we felt was excessive for what we had.
-
Great location! Close to train station and working walking distance of the city and old town. Very friendly staff plus the rooms were big and comfortable.
-
Super cozy, feeling right at home :) nothing to be mentioned here.
-
Everything. I had a single room but it was larger than most singles and very comfortable. It was well lighted, had a desk with a lamp, a closet and it was very quiet even though it faced the street. The location was also good as it was only a 15-20 minute walk into the old town. Nothing.

It’s in a good location and the hotel staff were friendly. The hotel does not have parking despite it being stated when booking. Additionally the full flight of stairs to try and get luggage up just to get to the lobby proved to be a real challenge for an elderly couple checking in when we were leaving.
