Location Open bathrooms. Unqualified and bot friendly staff and manager.

Excellent location, within walking distance to Mirabell Palace and Gardens. Tours start practically from next door. Easy acces to public transportation. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The refrigerator was stocked with non alcoholic beverages, included in the room charges. The room size was too small. There was hardly any room left to walk around after putting two suitcases. But the sheets and towels were immaculately clean and crisp.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well located, with an excellent breakfast and consistently friendly and helpful staff. There was an unfortunate billing issue during check-in, which was resolved promptly by the team. Special thanks to Amir for his professionalism and unfailing friendliness, and to Dominik and Karen for their attentive and friendly service. Despite the initial billing issue, I had a very pleasant stay and would happily return.

The staff were absolutely incredible. They truly treated us like royalty. Extremely helpful, almost like they knew what we needed before we did. The rooms were properly air conditioned and very clean. The location was superb. We were very sad to leave.

Beautiful hotel with old world charm and modern conveniences - right near where the “Original Sound of Music Tour” (yes of course we did it and you should too!) starts and ends. Convenient parking in the hotel court yard (and a staff member was nice enough to park it for me), easy check in process, luggage brought to room, very powerful & hot shower, in room coffee and a delicious breakfast with lots of selections. Really nothing not to like about the Hyperion - would recommend to anyone staying in Salzburg! Small nitpicks - no reason not to stay but the hotel and parking are a little pricey but so seems to be all the places in Salzburg. For a one night stay it was well worth the splurge. Also, the hotel has an in-house “5 Star” restaurant with very tasty food. We decided to eat there after our Sound of Music tour. It wasn’t very busy at all at the time but the person checking us in asked if we had a reservation which we didn’t as we didn’t know we had to make one and again, the place was pretty dead. He acted like he was doing us a big favor by letting us eat there. Guess it helped when we reminded him we were guests. But it got better from there as our server (wish I’d gotten her name) was awesome & friendly and the food was pretty dang good. Not cheap but pretty dang good. Anyway again, not a reason not to stay at the hotel but a moment that put a damper on an otherwise perfect stay…so I’d still fully recommend the Hyperion Salzburg. Just make the dinner reservation if you want to eat there or eat somewhere else…

Great location- exceptional staff. We had a large comfy suite. Excellent buffet breakfast. Free bus passes around town. 5 min walk to Mirabellgarten/Palace. 10 min walk to train hbf. None

Great location and very nicely furnished. Rooms were large and well equipped. Comfortable beds and pillows and more than welcome A/C in what was very warm weather in Salzburg. Over €30 for breakfast is madness. Needless to say we didn't partake.

Good location, small but cozy room, nice breakfast Toilet and shower were in different corners of the room. weird.

I stayed in the hotel for one night only and changed the room three times because of a string sewage smell in the room. Stayed up till 10 PM because of the issues and the moving from one room to another.. at the end they only compensated with 10% refund for a less than 12h stay in the room! I wasn’t honestly satisfied specially that its a 5 stars hotel!
