Leaving the hotel was the most enjoyable experience. Unfortunately what is not mentioned clearly when booking is the fact that there is no warm/hot running water, breakfast is inedible and you will be woken up in the middle of the night when they forget to charge your credit card. There are no amenities nearby, nor anywhere to eat - the hotel itself does not have any foodservice if you arrive in the evening (after 5pm). If you want something to eat you will need to cross the road and get a packet of crisps, there are no viable restaurants nearby. This supermarket also has a large speaker outside playing loud music into the early hours. Despite agreeing a refund and advising to get in touch with booking.com they sang a different tune once we had left the island.
