La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Antonio I-35 N at Toepperwein

The hotel is convenient to 35 and has plenty of restaurants within a 5-10 minutes. The property is quiet and clean.

The room appeared to be clean then we pulled the sheets and they had hairs, stains, and crumbs. We asked for new sheets. My son was bit the first night then again the 2nd night so I pulled the sheets off just to find bed bugs. If you ask for help they will help but won’t attend to you or the situation as in changing the sheets or room it’s a do it yourself. The place is dirty. I will not stay again. I got no sleep scared of being bitten.

As we arrived at the hotel there was a lot of people sitting in the lobby having dinner on foldable tables & chairs. They were so loud i couldn’t hear anything as i was checking in. We arrived to the room and the outside lawn was so dirty. Walked into the room and it was stinky like mold. Floor boards had signs of water damage. Carpet had an awful smell. Small roaches everywhere horrible. And to top it off the AC broke during the night. Had to call front desk twice to get another room. The second room smelled like cigarettes. The pool was so dirty our kids refused to get in as it had a lot of tree branches and leaves. Ice machine on 1 floor was broken and full of spider webs. It did have a sign that stated another ice machine available on 4th floor to take elevator. Elevator was right next to ice machine and had an out of order sign on it. I would not be staying at this hotel ever again. If I was able to rate it a ZERO I would.

This bathroom was dirty and the sheets seemed to be dirty as well.

Not having enough towels and the tub was not in good space

I don’t usually feel the need to disinfect bathrooms and such but this time I did. The room space is actually pretty good and great ac which is a must. Out of the 3 washers and 3 dryers, only 1 of each worked.

Great stay

The staff were amazing! My family & I got to stay on the same floor. While we were there going back & forth to the hospital visiting a family member. It was so convenient for my family.

The room was clean. If you don’t mind a cocarouch or two you will survive. They don’t do housekeeping nor the beds. They only give you 2 towels when checking in.

I think they should consider do a deep cleaning, specially in the bathrooms. The matresses are not very comfortable. I reserved the family deluxe room with 3 beds and a sofa with option as bed, but we couldn't use because it was very dirty. The good thing was that the room was very spacious and we could fit a inflatable matress. There was crocraches running around so try not to leave food. I will probably not stay here again in the future.

Pleaseeeeee don’t waste your money on this place! This has to be the most disappointing and disgusting place I’ve ever booked. The pictures on the website are very much deceiving. The place was filthy from top to bottom. The doors were dirty, the walls, floors, tub, the towels were all dull and stained. Hair in the sink. I literally wanted to sleep in my car at that point. Our room definitely was in desperate need of a deep cleaning! Never again!!

Clean, comfortable beds, family environment and easy and fast check in/out

The room and property were run down and dirty. The ceiling was peeling throughout the property. The breakfast was not as advertised on the website - there was no protein choice, only carbs, and the fresh fruit was literally just apples. The room we were assigned at check-in smelled strongly of urine and we could not stay in it. The floor was also sticky and the bathroom counters looked dirty though it might have just been stains. The staff was kind and helpful and moved us to a different room. The room had stains on the walls and the ceiling was peeling, but at least it didn't smell like urine. There were stains on the sheets; the towels were dingy and some were stained as well. There was a phone in the room that had no cords so it did not work. There are no dressers in the rooms. The carpet and flooring in the hallway were extremely dirty. We were in town for a work trip but if we had been on a real vacation I would have cancelled my reservation entirely. This property is not a 3-star hotel and is not a place I would recommend for a fun, relaxing vacation. It should be a lot cheaper for what it is.

I figured we wouldn’t be refunded but we checked out the next morning. I’m very surprised that La Quinta would allow their name on this place.

They looked clean in pics, but once your in room there was roaches and floors were sticky not clean.

Mala experiencia según los cuartos no eran de fumadores y apestaban y todo sucio basura en el piso no avían ni barrido las sábanas manchada de sangre Hayno y en la madrugada gritando en el picsina no se podía dormir ni respirar todas la avitaciones apestan y es un hombre el que según limpia la habitaciones jamás reservo aquí mis niñas ni caminar descalzan podían de lo sucio y la bañera negra negra de sucio no me atrevía a bañarme ahí demasiado sucio y olores a tabaco y a mariguana Hayno esa noche fue orrible

Friendly staff but not a clean hotel, had roaches.

There was bugs in the room. Drain flies in the sink and tub. Ear wigs in the bathroom.
