Hotel Regent

The Hotel is conveniently located 100 m away from the train station of S. Benedetto del Tronto and at walking distance (5-15 minutes, depending on your pace) from the city center and the beach. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Let me spend few words concerning the personnel: simply amazing! everyone was so caring and welcoming. There is nothing I did't like. Let's say, it all depends on your needs and expectations. If someone goes to S. Benedetto del Tronto for a holiday and want to stay close to the beach, or wants to see the shore and the sea, then other options might be considered.

Mattress was hard

Staff extremely helpful especially Francesca. Very close to the station if you arrive by bus or train. It was also close to the centre of San Benedetto del Tronto and the beach. A little noisy from the trains going past at night.

There is a private parking even though very tiny and difficult to manoeuvre inside. The furniture is outdated. There is no much space to place your stuff, especially in the bathroom. There is nothing to hang the beach towels and the swimwear. On the bed I could feel the springs. The location is very close to the station and sometimes we could hear trains passing by and station announcements even with the windows closed. My mum fell right in front of the hotel the second night of our stay and broke her arm. Beside the sir who was doing the night shift, nobody else of the personnel was either helpful, considered or empathetic. After few hours from the check out I realised I had left my cell phone charger in the room (Apple Original = 50 €) probably due to the confusion caused by my mother's broken arm. I immediately called the hotel asking to check. The girl at the reception was very unhelpful and couldn't be bothered. She said she would have asked the cleaning personnel the day after. I kindly asked to check immediately and she refused. She said she would call me back. She didn't. I called back the day after and guess what...nobody had seen my charger!

The location was probably the only positive thing of this hotel This hotel is not a 4 stars. Absolutely not child friendly, not even a kettle in the room!! With a 4 month old baby had to go downstairs to get myself some boiling water to prepare the formula. Got given a door key so heavy I couldn’t carry in my bag, really? In 2024 no card?

Great location. Close to everything. Staff were fabulous-friendly, helpful and cheerful. The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped. Breakfast daily provided a good continental selection. Didn’t bother us but accomodation is close to the train station so you can hear the trains.
