Sonesta ES Suites San Francisco Airport San Bruno

Reservation was made 2 months in advance and although I'm not unreasonable to realize that preferences are not guaranteed and rooms are not assigned till arrival day, I was still disappointed that I ended up in an accessible room that i didn't request and in the far back corner of the property.. it was facing a parking lot and one of the windows had curtains that cannot be drawn completely. Being on the ground floor there are people walking by - that really bothered me especially being a single woman. The receptionist was distracted on the phone during checkin - wasn't discourteous but went about doing the paperwork while conversing with someone else; eventually told me that there was nothing to be done with the room due to sold out conditions. The wind was pretty strong and my door kept making a light banging noise as if someone is trying to get in but of course it was just the wind but that's still unnerving. The furniture was definitely dated and corners were born but overall the beds were nice and comfortable. Rooms themselves were clean but I think the occupants should not be allowed to leave bags of trash outside their rooms as that really does not leave a good impression. I saw that outside several rooms both in the afternoons and in the morning when leaving. Airport shuttle was convenient and helpful after I proactively engaged. Overall okay for business to get in and out but not stellar

Also had kitchen area with 2 electric hob, big fridge, microwave. Good breakfast with multiple food options. Only downside is noise from Flights overhead as the hotel was under the flight path.

The room was big with a complete kitchen. The breakfast was good too with great choices. The staff was very nice. It is close to the airport, so for travelers that is great! The noise from the planes overhead was a lot but we got used to it.

Hotel was close to BART stn and the airport. Uber charges less than $20 from the hotel to the airport. Variety of eateries around. Αppartment/suite was huge, good size/fully equipped kitchen and living room. TVs in every room. Parking is $15/day! Limited shuttle hrs, you have to request it prior. Shuttle belongs to the hotel, there isn't a shuttle service that runs regular hrs, say every hr or so.

Staff are very helpful especially the morning front desk person.

The location was perfect. I loved having the kitchen in the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The location was perfect I didn’t like that the fee for parking wasn’t up front and it didn’t come up until check out. I thought transparent pricing was the law now. And the food ran out before breakfast was even over.

Check in time was pretty late in the day. That I did not like. As well as the check out time. There were no towels available at the pool area. But other than that I say it’s a pretty decent Hotel to stay at.

Clean room, spacious, really good breakfast, friendly staff.

The pool was okay. The room was confortable. The dog barking in 611 at 0100 hrs. The guy talking to his babe on the phone in the hallway at 0145 hrs. No extended parking and airport shuttle available. I will cancel my future stay.

Overall great stay, clean and well stocked room. Breakfast was very nice. The only complaint is having to pay $15/night for parking, after paying over $500 for a two night stay, parking should be included.

Friendly staff; breakfast hours Difficult to get on internet. Confusing captchas. Lights in room to dim. Need more hooks in bathroom. Was not made clear that there were 2 Sonesta Hotels, each with their own shuttles. But the driver was kind enough to take us from one to the other without returning us to the airport.

Room was clean, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was well stocked.

Many fulltime live in residents at the property. Which creates interesting decorations and fixtures around the property. But a great location and price for 1 night.

The staff is always very welcoming and helpful. I have stayed here many times and the breakfast area is nice with a good variety of options. I love the extra space in the rooms. Some of the rooms are a bit dated but some upgrades are happening. The bed wasn't super comfortable for me but the sofa had been upgraded from previous stays as well as the window coverings, which was appreciated.

Only issue was a malfunctioning microwave. Breakfast was great and staff exceptional.

Very nice room, well laid out and very clean. The hot breakfast was a real bonus.
