Holiday Inn Express San Francisco-Airport North by IHG

Great breakfast buffet, comfy beds Lack of staff, key cards didn't work, frightened by another guest banging on the door and trying to get in who had key card to my room. Decor drab and poop colored curtains, front desk phone always busy, TV and bedside light didn't work.

The hotel was pretty nice. Staff was rude. Breakfast was 2/5. The none stop sounds from the Goodwill warehouse immediately next door made this possibly the worst hotel experience of my life. I’ve stayed in the heart of S.F. where you hear car horns and alarms all night but that pales in comparison to how bad this was.

Very clean property and pleasant stay! Staff is very polite. We love the free breakfast in the morning that has several hot and cold items. It's only minutes away from the city and a short distance to the airport with shuttle service.

Staff, breakfast and clean room

I had trouble opening the door to my room. I had to keep trying both keys over & over before the door opened. I had the keys reset twice. This did not help. When I came down to the exercise room my key would not work at all. The person behind the desk could not open it either. Also they charged me $27 for parking which was not mentioned when I made the reservation.

I didn't appreciate an extra charge for parking 25dlls a day. When I booked the hotel there was no mention of this. Breakfast was poor and only from 6 to 9 am. Who eats that early. There was no coffee or water during the day. If you want you can by a water bottle for 4 bucks! Definitely never stay there again.

Close to the airport. The only issue I had was 2 weeks before my trip I was told a shuttle would pick us up from the airport but we were not told shuttle starts at 5pm. Breakfast was good. Easy access to public transportation next time we know.

The hotel is close to the city. It has excellent service, good and clean rooms. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended.
