To start the staff was great polite and super friendly. very respectful. I felt safe clean hotel highly recommended

Central to main plaza. We arrived to the hotel and a child about 13 yrs old was running the front desk alone when we checked in. I explained to him we had reservations and were checking in. He continued to offer rooms to us but again I explained we already had a confirmation for 2 rooms. I tried to show him the booking which he didn’t know what he was looking at. We finally got the room keys & he showed us to our rooms.5 mins later he brings the remote then another 5 mins later he comes to bring us the WiFi codes instead of just giving it to us all during check in. There was a dirty towel in one of the rooms and no towels in the bathroom or no blanket. This matter was brought to the attention of the child in charge so he brought clean towels and removed the dirty one. He also brought a blanket which he said should normally be in the closet. That evening the new man running the front desk stops us on our way in to the hotel and explains that they have an issue with their credit card system so we have to pay in cash for the rooms & we have to do so the following day. By the time we get to our rooms it was 8:45pm so we wanted to shower. No hot water was available. We called the front desk and the same man said he would check on their boilers. Every 10 minutes he was calling and telling me 10–15 more minutes. Until about 10pm and we finally gave in and fell asleep. He told us that they had an issue with a pipe freezing causing the issue with the hot water. It is absolutely unacceptable that they hadn’t figured out this issue prior to our arrival. We had been traveling 24 hours and all we wanted was a hot shower. The following day there’s a new man and a new child at the front desk. We explained the issues to them from the night prior and they said we could talk to the manager after 12pm at the hotel since he would be around and see about getting a discount for the first night due to all of the inconveniences.

The staff in the place was really helpful, breakfast was super delicious. The would let us check in super early (this was no problem at all) and also kept our luggage before we had to catch the night bus. Would def go there again! Thanks for everything! The room was a little bit noisy but we still could sleep fine!

The hotel itself was quite pretty - stones, courtyard, nice common room, flowers... Toilet flushed very well. Location great IF you don't mind loud music throughout the night (or if you're out enjoying it yourself!). When I booked, it said breakfast was included. When I printed the confirmation, it said breakfast was not included. At the hotel I asked for an explanation and they told me that "Booking.com" clients NEVER receive breakfast... this was not made clear on the website! AND I paid a price expecting breakfast to be included. It was cold. Really, really cold. I first asked for an extra blanket and then, a few days later, jokingly asked if they had an extra heater around. Turned out they did (!) - a dusty radiator type heater that only helped a little. Since it was so cold, whenever you took a shower, the condensation was incredible and intractable - going to the bathroom you felt water dripping on your head, the toilet paper was damp, the towels were damp. Water pressure wasn't very good. Wifi wasn't that great either. During our 10 day visit, bedsheets were not changed.

Excellent stay for my time in San Cristobal. Staff was very attentive and willing to help. Comfortable room and bed. Good central location The noise. It is next to 2 or 3 bars that play loud music late into the night
