Hotel San Martín

It’s central but be aware it’s on a pedestrian street so if you want taxi or shuttle pickup or drop offs you have to walk to the end of the street. You walk out of the hotel into the thick of it of bars and restaurants. Definitely noise from a neighbouring bar on a Saturday night but it ended by midnight. Also early morning noise from next door or the street from 6am. Also it’s cold, I’m not sure what they do for heating in winter but I found it so cold I took the blankets off the other bed which def helped. There’s a small window that doesn’t close fully in the bathroom which maybe doesn’t help with external noise.

Quiet hotel with a great location. Minimal amenities, cold room (I had to take the blankets off the second bed to be warm in the first). No English language among staff.

Very good value for the price, very friendly staff, great location.

I loved how centered it was. Everything was walking distance. Also, it was an extremely safe town. I absolutely loved it. I did not like that you could hear everything from other rooms. I felt there was not enough privacy in our room.

Excellent value and such agreat location...

amazing location , just off of the main zocalo/central square … and friendly staff - lovely rooms and a nice little courtyard area walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on outside your room very loudly - also it was freezing cold at night and although the beds have an extra layer of blankets on the bed it was still uncomfortably cold for me. I feel the cold very easily and the climate is not the hotels fault and I survived :) overall I was happy with the hotel though!

One of the best price with good location at this place. The bed was so comfortable. Internet connection was really good and try to request ground floor. If the place not so full, they can give you the ground floor. Staff was friendly. Can you please change the lightbulb from orange to white. Bathroom little bit outdated, but still have hot shower.

Everything. It is a beautiful place, beds are good, people working there are lovely and we had some beautiful days in San Cristóbal.

Great experience overall, completely advisable for both short and longer stays!

Very nice staff, hotel right on guadalupe Street with all restaurants and bars Bathroom had a lot of flies in the morning, room has no sunlight (but no much f an issue, lot of rooms are like that), noise from the street and hotel since room was close to reception

The perfect place, but the bottom rooms are so very cold.
