The hotel itself was very nice, a good place to stay. My only complaint is that we stayed there on a Saturday night and went to the restaurant for dinner. The "real restaurant" wasn't seating people (it looked closed) so we had to sit in an area of tables that felt like a small cafeteria. The food was mediocre and the ambiance was poor, and the food seemed to take a long time to arrive. The online reviews made it seem much nicer / appealing than it actually was. We wished that we had gone somewhere else.

Staff was great but no breakfast included.

Nice and comfortable hotel. Nice pool and courtyard. Clean and comfortable rooms. Quiet. The facility is a little older and could use some freshening up, but overall, a very comfortable, clean and nice place to stay.

Fees are wild

Clean, large rooms, balcony, staff was nice. Restaurant area was nice, would have been only better if continental breakfast was included and parking was included. Otherwise felt safe, secure. Really enjoyed our stay.
-
The outside area is a huge plus for families. Our kids loved the pool, courtyard, and fish pod. This was a great stay!
-
Staff was attentive, rooms were clean, property was overall clean but could benefit from upgrades, i.e., newer exterior/paint, interior upholstery, and patio gates (1st floor) and chairs. The pool towels were not stocked and the clean towel containers were empty.

I booked a night stay.. Used my Expedia points to do so.. Called the MOTEL.. Asked if they had a jacuzzi they said yes so I booked.... I called back after booking a no cancellation night might I add after they told me they had a jacuzzi... Main purpose of going...and the property shows on line it has a jacuzzi.... After booking they treat you poorly.. Won't help.. They lied... They are desperate... Don't go here to to Noel 6 much better place... These staff members are very weird

This was an older resort type of property that folks would come to if they were visiting the area in large groups. The property is expansive. So much so that you need a bell cart to get to your room is you’re not driving. The property itself is a bit antiquated and should be updated as soon as possible. In doing so I could see returning at some point in the future with a group or maybe kids. Not necessarily for the weary working traveler.

Grounds were beautiful, staff was super helpful, only thing they could improve is bar/lounge, we stopped in had a drink, 3 people on staff and only one other person, the bartender served us, never came over to see if we wanted another.

The hotel is older. However it is very clean . The morning breakfast buffet was cold

I did not like that breakfast was not included. I only had breakfast one day at the hotel. I found breakfast locations in Old Town SD for all the other days for way cheaper and better taste. I did not like that our group all payed a different price for parking. Yes, you have to pay for parking!

Staff are great.

Awful Stuff #1: Upon check in, we requested a luggage cart. Staff appeared clueless about where one might be, as there were none in the lobby area. There was no effort made on their part to find one for us. Since I am in a wheelchair, I must rely on my partner to handle all the luggage. He finally found one on his own. When he finished using it, he placed it outside our room...the next morning it was still there, and cleaning staff were already around, so it could have been returned to the lobby. Now we know why no carts were available. When we checked out, we asked front staff for a luggage cart. There was a horrible language barrier, so again, my partner had to find one on his own. During our stay, we saw many scattered around the property. Inacceptable service. #2: Disabled parking. Again, since I am in a wheeelchair, disabled parking is essential for us. When we returned each night about 11 p.m., not only were the FOUR disabled spaces taken, but parking was only available on the outskirts of the parking lot. My partner had to drop me off at the curb, and search for general parking. There are 2 disabled spaces outside the lobby, but they have a 30 minute check on limit. Those should he made available at night timeUNACCEPTABL

The staff was helpful and really nice. I also liked the gated parking lot with security. Actually, everything was great but the hotel is a little dated.
-
The location was very convenient and staff was very helpful. The beds were comfortable and the r balcony was helpful for drying towels at the end of the day. I would give 4.5 if I could.
