Reviews

Elevators barely worked, room keys stopped working, cuz stuck in stairwell because of the eleventh and keys not working.
-
only one of the 3 elevators work.
-
Down to one elevator so slow big lines. Ended up going outside of the hotel and walking down to parking garage. Breakfast is not great eggs and breakfast meat cold. Good location very walkable and bed was comfy. A great weekend but to many other choices to go back.
-
Excellent location friendly staff . Excellent walking distance to the ocean and little Italy
-
Train noise 24/7 as it is right beside. Run-down hotel, overpriced and dirty.
-
Lobby vs other Hampton Inns not good, coffee & tea service end too early, room decor outdated, hallways & elevators need repairs & upgrades, breakfast area too cramped. For the price, I won’t stay there again..

Good location
-
Breakfast good actually they have a waffle maker A+ 😁😁
-
Hotel was nice and quiet. The beds were very comfortable.
-
Nearby by trains cause lots of noise in rooms. Walls are thin so rooms overall aren't very private. Elevators dont work great. Overall an ok hotel for a quick stay.
-
Hair on bathroom counters. A wad of long dark hair INSIDE the pillowcase. Towels appeared to be stained with what I can only imagine was black mascara from a previous guest.
-
Property is next to Metro train station. Can be noisy.

The location is really the only best part of this hotel. The staff is amazing. Our room was full of ants we did get to change our room but the next room we had problems with the plumbing. It’s an old hotel that needs an upgrade. Our room had no usb charger ports. Our key card kept failing us we kept getting stuck in the garage which was annoying. The breakfast was okay one day they had pork patties, potato, and omelette premade no options with just regular eggs so that was a downfall for us as we don’t like bell Peppers in our omelette. I would rate this place a 3 just because the location was perfect. There’s a great park across the street for the kids. And walking distance to alot of stuff.

Breakfast was good. Parking is expensive! Downtown & Little Italy, City Hall and County Offices location excellent. No room safe; no bottled water unless you ask for some; no area info in room; no dresser drawers; no non-slip bathmat; room cleaning every other day. What you do get is a clean room and a comfortable bed.

The check in process was fast and thoroughly completed! My stay was hassle free and relaxing!
-
This hotel is very close to several train tracks that run throughout the night and is very noisy.
-
- staff are friendly and helpful - breakfast is excellent - parking is secure - the only downside during our stay is that I can hear loudly the noise of people passing by, and the gym is making vibrations when in use! - room lighting is not enough! It’s very dim!
-
Clean, comfortable, great breakfast and very close to many amenities. There is a train that passed very often right outside the window. But that isn’t the Hamptons fault.
-
Breakfast has everything you want! Staff was very friendly and resourceful, gave us coupons to restaurants, recommendations and travel tips. Also a very short drive from The airport and Coronado island.

Could not find Parking, although I jpaid $40.00 for parking
