Hard Rock Hotel San Diego

The 4th floor pool deck area, bar and surrounding lounge area was a sunny location to relax out of the room. The staff was nice. I enjoyed my stay and I plan to stay there again on my next visit.

We had a great time. Staff was super cool and helpful. We'll be back again for sure.

Rooms were reasonably well kept. I emailed the hotel more than once. First time was to alter regeneration. No response. Second time was for a receipt of room charges. No response this time either

Unfortunately the guy that checked us in was very unfriendly and short., not very helpful either.I watched him be very polite and nice to the lady before me. Then when it was my turn to see him he was very short and didn’t even attempt to make eye contact. It made me feel some type of way. I don’t want to say it’s because I’m Hispanic but it felt that way! :( the lady he was so friendly and helpful to was Caucasian.

This hotel is worn out. Leaking faucets, broken curtains, wallpaper coming loose in numerous places, furniture broken, tv and remotes had issues, our room was not ready and when we finally got to the room, they never brought our luggage up. They won’t let you use carts you must tip. $70 parking, truck came back with black soot all over it and no one knew anything. Picked this place for the pool and they opened up the pool Saturday to the drunken public. Pool over occupancy, loud beat music we could not use the pool for 6 hrs. Balcony room made for good people watching.

This stay was a last minute booking. I had previously booked somewhere else and that place was not good and we were so happy that Hard rock had a booking available. The stay was amazing. Parking was across the street and but easy access.

Had a great stay at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, Gaslamp District! I’ve stayed at many of the area hotels, but Hard Rock was amazing.. the staff were very polite and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well appointed. I look forward to coming back soon!

Just a hop,skip and jump away from Petco Park and Gaslamp District. Very nice hotel,valet parking staff was nice and helpful. Only reason I rated the way I did was because I asked the gal at front desk if someone could go to our room and try to fix out TV since it was NOT working at all. Husband and I were trying to watch the World Cup games before heading to the concert. We also never received our drink vouchers that were part of the package when the room was initially booked.Bar/Restaurant were nice and clean.

Everything was great but the speaker/clock next to bed was not good. We didn't even use it but it's a point for improvement
