Staff was friendly. Hotel is great location. Building itself shows its age a bit but room furnishings were nice and clean.

Everything was great except for the elevator. Very slow and every time you enter, you have to wait for the doors to open and close several times before they close and the elevator moves. Should be a priority to fix considering there is only one mall elevator for the entire hotel and should work as efficiently as possible.

Everything was great! My husband thought it had a musty odor, but I thought it had a sweet floral scent? Otherwise, the bedding was excellent, lovely soaps and sundries. It couldn’t be a better location. And I very much enjoyed being welcomed by an adult beverage. 😊

Be careful if there are any events happening during your stay near the Petco park stadium. There’s a parking lot nearby and the traffic is extremely difficult to get back ti the hotel. Otherwise the location is rly good.

The staff was extremely friendly and the welcome beverage at check-in was a nice surprise. The location was perfect, made everything very walkable. The gym/pool access down the street was top notch. We had a king room with a sofa bed and while the king was great, the fold out sofa mattress was terrible. Bathroom was pretty small and there wasn’t much room to hang clothes or put things in drawers, if you care about those things. Overall, I’d recommend it as long as you don’t need the sofa bed.

Staff was great, super friendly and accommodating. The bed and pillows are wonderful, the space was clean and decent sized. I wish there was a fridge and an iron in the room. Perfect location to walk to Petco!

The Hotels.com listing for this hotel is 100% misleading. The lead photo shows a pool looking over the ballpark. There is NO pool at the Hotel Z. Be aware that they will tell you the pool is a short walk away inside a club. It is 5 blocks away, on the roof of a pricey health club. This is NOT a vacation friendly pool. Most people will not feel comfortable with this option as I did not and it completely ruined my 3 day vacation where I anticipated a hotel pool. The elevator was not functioning properly so everyone had to take the stairs vs. waiting 20 minutes for a single floor ride. In additon the 2nd floor does not have refridgerators in the rooms and no ice machine on the floor. We got the last roll away fridge delivered to our room, but made 4-5 trips up to the 3rd floor for ice. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful; there was a complimentary check-in beverage; and the location was fairly convenient to anything downtown. I would not recommend.

Elevator wasn't working correctly. Room was dark and looked into rooms 5' away.
