Property served its purpose. Nothing special but they charged for parking which was not advertised anywhere except the very small print. California parking charges are just money grabs

I absolutely love this property. All the staff was very friendly and courteous willing to help any needs was very quiet and secure. Also, the amenities there were outstanding in the rooms were very nice and maintained would definitely stay there again.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and perfect and there was a lot of parking.

We stayed for 3 nights for vacationing in San Diego. Room was small. Bathroom was small. Floor was somewhat dirty (socks had dirt on bottom after walking around). Food from The Waffle Spot was delicious but they don’t deliver to your room. Staff was friendly and helpful, quick to meet our needs. While the pool was beautiful we did not use it during our vacation.

The hotel was in a great location and the pool was fabulous, the room had a very strong bleach smell to it which was very hard to get rid of

Unfortunately, the room did not smell fresh upon arrival. There was a strong, unpleasant odor immediately noticeable when walking into the room, which negatively impacted the first impression. Additionally, the rooms have laminate flooring, which made noise from the room above very noticeable. Footsteps and stomping from upstairs carried through clearly and affected the overall comfort of the stay.

When I booked the hotel thru expedia it did not state the there was no elevators and when I got there they were going to put my husband who is disabled and I on the second floor. When I voiced my concerns the staff right away acomidated us to the bottom floor. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. Thank you

Great breakfast spot, rooms were very clean, and staff was very helpful and accommodating, a great experience once again. Thank you kings hotel!

The only downsides were that the bed wasn’t very comfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, and the room next to ours had a dog that barked frequently, which was disruptive. Other than those two issues, we had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again if those concerns were addressed.

It’s an older motel but very well kept. Clean and quiet

Staff at the front desk was really helpful and sweet. It was a really nice hotel and we had a great time here.

Location was excellent!

There is no elevator. The on-site restaurant does not open for early morning travelers. The staff was rude.

Great staff, clean rooms, best diner style breakfast in San Diego

It was very clean. The rooms were comfortable. The pool was great for the kids and the restaurant on site was delicious and convenient. Not to mention the staff was very nice and accommodating. It was a really good place to spend a few nights.

Affordable place to stay and easy access to the MTS in front of the hotel for easy travel on the bus. Would stay agsin. They have a good small restaurant on site called waffle spot which had good food.
