The Atwood Hotel San Diego - SeaWorld/Zoo

The room itself was fine and the beds and bathroom were clean. However, despite booking a room with two queen beds for four people, we were only provided with two bath towels, one washcloth, and one hand towel. When I went to the desk to ask for more, they gave us worn-out bath towels and completely left out the extra washcloths and hand towels. Disappointing service for a group stay.

Staff was very friendly, the were really helpful. Aside from staffing. Rooms were very mediocre, you could hear literally everything outside, no soundproof support from the main door. No main lights even though the room had a light switch for it, we had to use the lamps as our main source of light. Can see visible cracks and dirt on the wall. However, the main bed was comfy, hot water was fine, but could be better! 3/5

Cute, older property. If you want new, this isn’t it. It is safe, small, the pool and hot tub are large. The staff are lovely. The beds are firmer which I personally like and sleep so much better on. I would stay again.

The staff was very nice and the room was clean. We stayed there for a Padres game

Really enjoyed our stay here restaurant was excellent out of the three nights we stayed here only one night did we have bad service food was still great. Love the convenience store next-door had everything we ever needed.

It’s hard to find budget friendly properties in San Diego, and for what we paid, this was a nice and clean hotel. This property is often sold out so if you’re thinking about it, act fast!

Property was claimed, staff was helpful and nice.They only do made service every other day.Excuse was, covid?I was pretty sure we were done with covid years ago.But that was their excuse over, all the property was pretty nice for I say one of the first questions.Ask on here was, did we enjoy the hot tub?No, because it was always so full of people.You couldn't possibly get in it.Maybe needs more hot tubs for that size property

Water pressure in the shower was horrible for hot water. Only could get strong water pressure with cold water. The bed was very firm.

There was a roach on the bed. When I took the pillow off to give it to my niece , it went with the pillow.. she freaked out!!

Okay to stay if you just want to sleep.

Rooms were clean. The staff was excellent and the pool and jacuzzi were great.

Room smelled like smoke. Sheets were stained. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom toilet seat was not cleaned. Thankful I brought my own antibacterial wipes and blankets.

Free parking was nice, rooms were just okay but staff was helpful and pool was fun. Great for a cheaper stay for two nights and so close to Sea World.
