No black out shades no amenities

Great stay the owner is a great guy let me park in his parking space so my pregnant wife doesn’t have to walk far . Rooms are clean and safe

Room stayed very illuminated all night due to LED exterior lighting and no room darkening shade/curtain. There was significant confusion with check-in - booked and fully paid thru Expedia. She said it was not paid for and wanted to charge me again. She finally found assistance but check-in was very slow. A few indoor parking spaces but not many. We had no issue with street parking. Maybe management is new? The stay was ok - mostly because of convenient location.

Great location for exploring the Shelter Island area. Good restaurants in the area. Very clean room. Parking under the building was a bonus.

Great location with access to restaurants; the parking is a bit inconvenient but acceptable, and it is very easily accessible from the airport and amusement parks.

Great place

The room smelt like sewage everytime you flushed the toilet. Only had half a roll of toilet paper at check in and staff was never around to ask for more, had to buy my own, staff was never around and when asked for anything they were rude and not communicative. TV Remote batteries were dying and never replaced. Listing on Expedia said rooms came with Microwave in room and there was none. There are absolutely no amenities at this property!!! Only good thing was the location

Newly renovated hotel and rooms in a prime location. Free parking under building was very helpful. But few amenities in the room - no coffee, hairdryer, microwave or mini-fridge.

Professional staff, quaint hotel with updated rooms. It’s in an excellent location that’s walking distance to restaurants, bar & arcade, pizza shop, a cute breakfast and lunch spot and almost anything you need is just about a 2 minutes walk away from your room!

The only downside was the dusty floors and I was possibly missing some towels upon check in, there was an empty space where a towel maybe should havr been. However the property was beautiful, everything was updated showing the owners really take care of their property. Quiet, nice size rooms, comfortable bed and free parking. Absolutely deserves another stay, amd great for a first time visitor. See you all again soon!

Location was good. Bed was uncomfortable, no tissue in the room and no wash clothes. No staff on site to contact

Room was clean but you can tell the place is a little dated before their remodel. But they left certain things not remodeled. Like the bathtub had some nicks in it. Shower curtain had some weird spots on them. Very basic room. Nothing fancy but because I needed a place to literally sleep for two nights, it wasn’t that bad and I got good sleep. Bed was clean. Front office couldn’t really understand English. I would say overall a 3/5 stay experience. Average, not best, and not poor.

The rooms looked nothing like the pictures! It was old and very basic room. Bed was hard. No decor on the wall just two pillows on the bed and blanket is thin . No thick comforter. Will not stay here again!

It's a place to crash after a long day, not to spend time in. Your bed won't be.made. Fresh towels are by request. No phones in the rooms, so if you need anything, you must go to the desk. The previous client had medium length straight black hair and was travelling with a lady who had longer straight black hair. I'll let you figure out how I know that. Goid value, but you get what you pay for. I won't skimp on the hotel again...

This was a nice surprise! Was one of the least expensive choices in SD and yet it was new, clean, and honestly a very well done space! I enjoyed the balcony view of the city and the quiet room. Fabulous off-street parking.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was exceptionally clean, and everything—from the fixtures and beds to the amenities—was spotless, modern, and well maintained. The room felt fresh and updated, and we especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel was. It made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again.
