Perfect location

The location is great. Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. It was a very cute complex. It was a very walkable area - lots of food, stores, beach, ... The rooms are a little tired. They need updating, but really they worked, because of all the positive reasons to stay there. It was clean and there was plenty of storage. The bed was okay.

Can’t beat the location, right on the beach. The view was incredible. The rooms are older, but very well maintained. The staff was super friendly. It was quiet, convenient, and had beautiful views from the rooms.

Loved the easy in and out parking at the hotel for 15$ a night .Loved the communication with the friendly staff who saw to our needs as we had requested. Loved the beach /boardwalk front location of the hotel with easy gated access right to the boardwalk. Loved the charm of the grounds with the landscaping and the tables and chairs, the shuffleboard and ping pong table. The hotel maintains the feeling of a hotel in the sixties, loved the nostalgia of it. Loved the sliding glass/ screened door in our room that we could open to get the ocean breezes and sounds in our room.loved the adjustable sliding shutters that fit over the sliding door for privacy as needed. Loved the table and chairs on the little balcony in front of our room we could use and enjoy. The bed and bedding were comfortable, the flat screen tv was easy to use and had cable tv ,and it was a large size too. The micro kitchen with mini fridge ,microwave, cupboard was suitable for our needs. The neighborhood in which this hotel was located had a large grocery store very close by and umpteen bars,restaurants,coffee shops in easy walking distance. We felt at home here and did not want to leave Also need to mention that while Pacific beach is full of people in the day/evening, it quieted right down by 930 pm.
