Beautiful and relaxing property. Perfect location close to all. Open the windows and fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves.

My family of five really enjoyed the inn. There was plenty of space in our suite and lots of outdoor seating for us to spread out after our swim in the pool and watch the sunset. The whole inn was very charming.

The staff was great very knowledgeable of the area. Great size rooms and Awsome view from the pool

Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and particularly grateful for Gavin and Alex! Great property and location (as well as great WiFi throughout). Looking forward to my next stay here.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate everything

The two bedroom suite was fantastic, spacious, clean, comfortable beds and even the sofa bed was comfortable. Sitting on the patio at night listening to the waves of the ocean is fantastic.

I love that I heard the ocean crashing all night. That I woke up and had coffee, checked the waves, and then worked all morning until I had to go to my conference enjoying the sound of the surf, with the door open and the wind rushing in. I love that I sat in a rocker, and was able to focus on the waves hitting the rocks to bring myself to be present more than I normally am able to. The uber took 9 min to get there. Plan ahead.

Absolute treasure

Our room was spectacular and so spacious, comfortable, and clean. The entire property has such a relaxing feel to it, while still being centrally located and close to PB and everything we wanted to do in San Diego. What really stood out to us was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. We had such an amazing experience and would absolutely stay here again. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay in San Diego with incredible views, a great location, and wonderful staff, I highly recommend the Inn at Sunset Cliffs!

I will definitely be back.

Second time staying here, it was just as delightful as the first! The courtyard is a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the sunset over the water. I love being close enough to the ocean to hear the waves through the window at night.

Nice hotel for couples or families! Quiet area, nice pool (heated) and great view of the ocean. It’s a dated property, but very well maintained. Housekeeping came every day (so great). The cliffs are in terrible shape so you can get anywhere to explore which is not the hotels fault. The beach nearby is small, dirty and smells terrible so we didn’t stay more than a few minutes. There’s nothing by the hotel to do, but it’s a mile or so from Ocean Beach.. which is disappointing. It’s busy even during the week and everything looks OLD and unkept.

My family really enjoyed our stay.

really nice place, parking is limited so you may have to street park but we never had an issue finding something in short distance, little smaller than expected but so close to everything.

amazing views, large rooms with good facilities. Warm pool open late. Good location between La Jolla and Ocean beach. Perhaps it was a little overpriced. ( I Was charged $30 more than booking.com price and hotel couldn't explain why- not a lot I know but it was a non refundable fixed price including taxes when I booked so I expected that price to be honoured.)
