Dingy towels. No window to air room out, because of this the room smelled
-
Staff did not move swiftly to get guests checked in. AC smelled awful, we had to use the coffee bags from the room to try and deodorize the room. Towels were stained.

Clean rooms. Regular housekeeping.

Clean room with easy access to Sea World and other restaurants. Parking was very tight, but overall I had a great stay. Staff was very welcoming and kind.

Travel to San Diego frequently for work. Stayed at many hotels. Had a room on first floor. Room was tidy but there was visible damage to the walls in and around the bathroom. The room had an odd odor. Woke up early morning to get ready and found large cockroaches (water bugs) in and outside the bathroom. First and last stay at this location.

I used to stay at this property when my girls were smaller like between 4 and 12 years old. At that time it was decent, nothing fancy but had rooms with bunk beds that I liked, and of course most people want a microwave and refrigerator, so amenities were useful. The property is currently noted as "renovated"... What they meant by renovated must have been adding cheap wooden floor panels and headboards that match in each room? They didn't change out the sinks or bathtubs or do anything with the bathrooms in general. Fixtures falling apart, bottom of the tub sketchy, smells of mildew. Insects running rampant in the room. Smashed spiders still on the walls and ceilings, I'm assuming from other visitors stays. Woke up at 2:00 a.m. for restroom and was met by of creepy millipede bug thing (idk what it was) the size of my pinky finger walking across a towel. A/C still from the 80s. For it to be renovated, it felt/ looks worse than it did 10 plus years ago. We stayed in building D, were you had to go out of the parking lot and make a right on a corner street and then head to a building that was on the property but not really on the property because you can only access that building from a different street. It was creepy and I can't believe we stayed, but we were exhausted and we made-do. I've stayed in Marriott's in San Diego at the same price point. Super high for what you get. Need new bathrooms, and MAJOR pest control. Room doors were sketchy as well.

The do not disturb signs would not stay on the door. So we were disturbed a few times. But the cleaning staff were eager to do their jobs so that is good.

The room was clean and neat, the parking was so good and we were always able to find parking.
-
The room was squeaky clean but the stairwell, hallways and buildings looked dirty, dingy and worn. The parking fee felt like a money grab. It’s a wide open parking lot and there’s no added security or convenience by parking there. I recommend this property if you’re traveling on a budget. I would recommend against this property if you are traveling with a family, or expect a nicer quality based on the hotel’s brand.

No ocean view bbq place across the way was excellent

The room was clean and great! That was the best part. We had a 2 hour late check in at 5pm because there were no rooms available at 3pm. The lady at the front desk said the pool was available and it was actually not. Like she didn’t know what was going on. I stayed there because it had a nice looking pool for the kids. So that sucked. They didn’t replenish towels the second night. We had a no smoking room, but the people underneath us were smoking weed multiple times at night and we could smell it inside of our room with the door closed.

Good location, excellent staff and cleanliness
-
Not worth the money. The bathroom is very small, and the pillow was very hard.
-
Horrible stay, definitely will not return. First room we were assigned had bugs. They moved us to another room. The sheets on the bed were dirty. House keeping never came to clean the room even though we asked.

Located close to Sea World Air conditioner broke in my room and they placed me in a new room that was not what I paid for and they didn't honor the price difference that I was promised. Tried to speak with Manager of facility but he wouldn't speak to me. Had his staff tell me "he was in a meeting". The room is was given was a durable grade from the deluxe room booked. All I asked was to be charged for the standard room they placed me in. I don't think that was too much to ask. I also asked for something in writing about the issue and the room change and charge and was told they had nothing they could print for me not email. I asked for documentation to avoid confusion at checkout. The front desk girl Myreka was rude and not willing to help and kept calling my brother "girl". Perla was an amazing person to speak with however unfortunately she never submitted my room adjustment as promised. None of the ice machines worked and the elevator was a hazard. Had to ask repeatedly for towels but received and my room was missing the chair that was supposed to be in there. Terrible experience

Convenient The cleaning staff were VERY LOUD in the morning and inconsiderate about the guests in the next room, even after asking them to please be quiet
