Excellent place to stay for Many years
-
Didn’t like the fact that Expedia did not have current photos/room descriptions
-
Such an incredibly unique hotel on the inside. We loved the ambiance. Felt clean and classy and also like we were in Star Wars.

Very good
-
Not happy about: Didn’t know parking wasn’t included in my trip package, to park at the hotel cost $99/day,

Nice staff
-
The restaurant staff are of a quality not befitting a hotel of this class. The waiters do not pay the necessary attention to the customers. A busboy picked up a napkin that a previous customer had dropped on the floor, folded it, and placed it next to my plate.

Overpriced
-
The location was great! And the whole property is beautifully designed! Nothing.
-
The room was clean minus hand prints all over the window.

Whenever we visit SanFrancisco we stay here at the Hyatt. It’s always so easy with valet and breakfast on site.

Hotel was amazing! Very nice view, room was always cleaned when we returned from our activities. Hotel staff were friendly. And the location was near everything (Pier 39, California cable car, China Town, Ferry Building etc). Only downfall was the cost of valet, but we ended up using the parking garages near.

Everything was great. Very clean room, staff was helpful and friendly. From the moment I arrived the greeter, the valet guy and the check in person were very courteous and friendly. It looks like the rooms have recently been renovated with nice new furniture. The restaurant staff very nice and the food and drinks very delicious. I suggest to get the room with a balcony for the ocean view.

Loved the room set up and hotel space overall. Room restrooms have actual doors and lock. Lobby is beautiful and location is convenient.

The property was excellent from the lobby to the amenities in the room. Everything was fantastic until the young ghetto ass creatures in rm 451 came back from heavily drinking at 3am. Booming their music and loud conversations. I contacted the front desk who notified security who stopped the music and almost everyone left. But there was still loud conversations until 4am....where I had to call the Front desk once again to have them to tell the ghettos to pipe down. Finally the noise stopped a little after 4am. I was in hospitality management for 10years. As an operations manager the first complaint would have been instant removal especially the amount of people that were in the property and the condition they were in. Hyatt Regency failed me on Saturday night. The next time I stay in SFO I will stay at the Jay. Very disappointed in the way Hyatt didn't handle the problem....totally screwed up my sleep....such BS that I have to pay for getting disturbed. The security team needs a complete overhaul. Access to the rooms should be more scrutinized on a Saturday between 12am and 4am.
