Extended Stay America Suites San Jose Edenvale South

Kitchen had nothing at all other than sink,stove,microwave and fridge. There was no coffee maker in the room or ice machine provided. No utensils,paper towels. The breakfast was a joke 2 types of muffins kid size, oatmeal, hot water for tea and the coffee machin didn’t work. Will nerve go there again.

room floor was so dirty, gave me a skomer room.. smeel terrible old man front so rude. PLEASE AVOID IT

This was not great for families. 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) and we only had 3 pillows between us. They "ran out". Breakfast was a joke (granola bars and oatmeal packets). Would not give extra towels or sheets until we returned the used ones. Pool had no furniture to sit on.

The staff was rude and showed very little hospitality. Our room had an unpleasant odor, and when we requested a different room, we were told to check out of the hotel immediately - even though it was already 10:00 PM and we were traveling with a small baby. When we asked for a room freshener, the staff did not have one readily available and asked us to come to the front desk after 10 minutes to collect it ourselves. There was no room service available; when we requested extra towels, we were again asked to pick them up from the front desk. Additionally, the coffee machine was not working, and the snack selection was extremely limited, consisting only of muffins and snack bars, with no fruits or other options available. Overall, the service and guest experience were very disappointing.

The property has become very run down. We stayed there many years ago, and it doesn't look like they have done anything to keep it up since, with the exception of putting in some hard surface flooring, which was already looking worse for wear. There were no dishes or cooking utensils in the unit. You could order a dish pack, but no one answered the phone when we needed it. The staff was always out in the parking lot smoking. The mattress was lumpy. The primary problem was that there were people above us who were running around in their room all night long. Complaints to the front desk (after having to call back when no one answered) were useless. We called in complaints twice. Noise stopped for maybe 1/2 hour and then started up again. We were there for 5 nights, and we were only able to sleep for a few hours during the daytime. The clerk at checkout said she'd talk to the manager, who conveniently wasn't in, but I haven't heard a thing. Had there been anywhere else in San Jose to move to, we would have! FIFA had the area booked up. I got onto Expedia to see if they can get me some sort of refund.

Room was comfortable and staff super friendly, no coffee first morning on already limited breakfast bar...found a hair (not ours) in a kitchen drawer and an already used bar of soap on top ledge in shower ..so cleaning not perfect..but overall was fairly clean with fresh bedding, etc. Also, room on ground floor and people above us were VERY loud...stomping/banging around...but not the hotel's fault there ..we have stayed here a few times and have always found it comfortable and convenient. Be sure to ask for ammenities at front desk...not even paper towels in kitchen, but you can get everything you need if you just ask! I like that it has a full kitchen too with full size fridge and a stove. (Not all units have an oven so be sure to ask if you need that). All have microwaves though.

The staff was great. There was a one hour wait for our room but that’s only because they were short staffed. Besides that, it was fine.

The staff there were very courteous. It was a quiet place when I entered my room it was very clean I definitely will be staying here again thank you extended stay America suites for an awesome stay.

It was okay! No full breakfast available only to-go which was inconvenient and not helpful.

I was pretty content with this hotel, I gave it a 4, because their sofa bed isn't that comfortable. I think they need new beds and sofa beds. It was clean and the staff was helpful.
