Residence Inn by Marriott San Jose South

This hotel was lovely. There was breakfast that was delicious and the rooms were very nice. It was clean and the pool area was very fun. We stayed here for a soccer tournament and it was the perfect set up for our team to hang out and have fun. The staff was fantastic about helping us get a sweater we left behind returned. It was a great stay.

I really like the home away from home feel with a kitchenette and sitting room. Breakfast being offered is a plus. The room I stayed in had a musty odor when I walked in and seemed to linger throughout my stay, unfortunately. Seems I may have stayed in an older building or one that has not been renovated yet. The elevator carpet needs major cleaning or replacement. My stay was just okay.

The hotel needs to be updated.

They are renovating soon, but at this time it’s outdated and uncomfortable. Breakfast was done and staff was nice. Spacious rooms.

Breakfast needs TLC..scramble eggs perfect companion are roasted small potatoes. Or salads..possible as steamedgood asparagus with olive oil and Parmesan cheese

The property was a bit worn. Tape on carpet and loose plumbing fixtures Charged for parking was a joke. Suburb setting plenty of parking seemed like a rip off.

Room was exceptionally clean upon arrival

Staff members at the hotel are very polite and friendly. They are very respectful and I appreciate their hospitality

I enjoyed my stay here with my husband. The breakfast was amazing and the room was super nice and clean. Will definitely recommend for others

The room was clean mattress was comfy. I liked the quiet location with easy access to freeways. The hotel is a bit dated but overall a great experience. I plan to stay here again.

Breakfast options were very good. Nice nutritional choices along with some comfort foods.

Location was close to wedding venue. A few red flags. Upon arrival, coffee was lukewarm and not refreshing, even the hot water was lukewarm The room we were in had no air-conditioning, meaning I couldn't cool down the room below 68 degrees at night. The temperature controls went down to 68 degrees F, that's it. Very uncomfortable night.

Great breakfast, roomy suite, close to everything

The property was well taken care of. The room was good size with a sitting area, kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was typical and very fresh. Plenty of eating space. My only complaint is that Marriott does not give points if you make the reservation from a third party. So I missed out on thst.

nice accomodation. Clean and beds were comfortable. They placed us near an electronic device in the parking lot that had a non stop electronic voice, perhaps for security? You could hear it all night long from our room (322).
