Hotel San Luis Obispo

If you do not valet, self-parking is right across the street, which is nice, however you have to pay separate for parking each time you go in and out of the parking garage. It is an added expense.

Great decor and great service, on all levels - bartender, check in staff, wait staff, valet service, cleaning staff. So friendly and professional.

All was great. There was an inconvenience of parking lot being full. Unfortunate but happens.

Ridiculous to offer stay three nights and get one free and then not offer it to people currently there staying three nights. Real sham operation.

Location is great. Room size is generous and the rooms are nicely appointed. The coffee bar area was a plus. Walls are thin, you can hear people around you and in the hallways. The room looks good, but some of the design choices are not practical. Why have a nightstand with no storage? Why have an open bathroom with minimal sound control and a shower that doesn’t drain properly? Pretty, not practical.

Everything in the hotel is new, clean and has such a fresh feel to it! Rooms are well thought out as far as design and maximizing space. Great Spa on the property, nice pool and jacuzzi as well as great dining options! Only little downside was transients roaming the streets and yelling at ungodly hours but other than that we loved our stay and would recommend the property to anyone wanting to stay in downtown slo!

Location is the selling point. It's perfectly located in the right in the heart of downtown. Room was good, service was great. It was a basic room on the second floor with two queen beds. For some reason I paid close to $750/night for two nights. When you are beginning to hit the Ritz and Four Seasons rates, a property needs to step up. The walls are very thin and we had an obnoxious group in the room above us blasting music and jumping up and down until 1am where I had to physically go to the lobby and ask for service. These days, it's hit and miss considering how people behave, and certainly not the hotel's fault, but it's not something you'd normally see at a resort of this price. There are several other folks that talk about noise and an inability to sleep across other review sites. If sleep is an important factor in your decision, then this warrants attention.

Great hotel, rooms are so nice and so is the whole hotel

Th location is excellent. The rooms are well appointed. The food far exceeded our expectations. We’ll be back!

Property is fantastic and staff was wonderful. Close to local restaurants and short trip to the vineyards and beach.

We had to request engineering to fix issues in the room. We also had to request room service as the bedroom was not cleaned when we returned from our day out.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed. A great floor plan with lots of space to relax. excellent amenities on every floor. Hotels restaurants are uniquely special too. Will be back!

The room was spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Plus, breakfast at the hotel was fantastic!

The AC thermostat was not functioning properly

Modern, clean. Loved the balcony with a view and sitting area. Exceeded our expectations! The shower pressure was lacking but okay overall.

Everything. That crazy light panel thing. Omg. And I never figured out how to pair with the speaker. Oh and the Nespresso instructions are missing a step. We had to literally Google it. LOL.

The beds are horrible
