Beautiful hotel, great taste, and very similar to the photos. Our room was next to the night bar, and even after 11pm we could still hear music and people talking. Since we were also on the first floor, every footstep and conversation from upstairs was very loud. It made it extremely difficult to sleep, so unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend it—no matter how nice the hotel is, being able to sleep well is the most important thing.

Love this place! This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back. Excellent attention to detail (decor, linens, bath products, books) make this place feel special. The bar is a gem - dimly lit, atmospheric, with top-notch service. Coffee and pastries in the morning are a delicious treat. Highly recommend!

Everything was wonderful. The staff checking us in was so hospitable and made sure to give us all of their recommendations which we really appreciated. The room and location was amazing as we were able to walk to the farmers market, dinner, drinks, and a concert. The room was cozy and we LOVED the balcony. We will definitely be back soon!

We had the best stay at The Granada Hotel!! A cute boutique hotel for our anniversary trip to SLO. The location was perfect and central. They allowed us to check in early and were attentive to our needs. Would recommend!!

1) There is a fee for parking and the lot access was is through a tiny alley. If you have an SUV you might not make it in. 2) This is important. The bathroom is part of the room. There is a toilet in a closet but the shower has a glass door and visible from the entire room- so if someone is uncomfortable being seen in the shower you should not book this place. The sink is across from the bed. 3 There is a restaurant but the prices were quite high and we chose to eat in town (there are many fine selections).

I hated the absence of a curtain between the shower and bed area. We need some privacy!

The only reason for 4 stars is their key policy. They need to upgrade their locks. You can leave your door unlocked, and the key comes with this huge keychain you're forced to carry around — it's odd. My friend lost his key (because we'd all taken the keychains off, since they don't really fit in a pocket) and it cost him $250. They charge enough per night that they could invest in normal hotel door locks instead of charging guests for lost keys. I'd stay again regardless, but I think they should fix that.
