Motel 6 San Luis Obispo, CA - South

Service was good. A little noisy at times but that cannot be controlled. Could happen anywhere. Room needed some maintenance. Bottom of restroom door was damaged and floor was cracked. Would help if bars were installed around shower, for safety against slipping especially for seniors.

What i like about the property 😌 is its in safe location, rooms are comfy and staff is always amazing and ready to help

There wasn’t anyone at the check in office/reception. We had to check in using a machine in the lobby which means that slow people who don’t know how to use it created a long line! I was so exhausted after leaving a wedding. It was just as pricey as the other comparable motels.

There was a bed bug in the room. Had to go to front desk in the middle of the night. After talking to the person on the computer terminal, got another room but night was ruined. We have stayed here before and it has been ok. Now we are skeptical about going back.

There was no shampoo, no coffee maker or hair dryer. Poor quality towels. Sort of rude or absent staff in office. Over a 3 night stay room was never visited by housekeeping for anything (and we were gone from the room all day each day). Main gripe is no clean towels during a 3 night stay. Didn't expect a lot for a Motel 6. Might give this a B- if I'm being generous.

It was a clean place to rest. Beds were comfortable enough.
