Hotel Arathena

The facility is beautiful and the staff is outstanding The room is lacking space if you travel with large suitcases. The water pressure in the shower was poor and the WiFi wasn’t stable in our area.

The staff was welcoming, the location convenient with available parking, and the breakfast was plentiful with delicious food. The room had a strange smell, and by the next morning ants had gotten into our closet and clothes. The following night, we even found a small lizard in the room.

Very cute boutique Hotel. Very tastefully designed beautiful rooms and great scenery. Unfortunately, our AC did not work, which made sleeping a problem. The room never got below 27C degrees.

The hotel was everything we expected and more! It was in a great location near the town and with a stunning view of the mountain area surrounding. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel itself was very nice with a lovely pool area and in particular a lovely restaurant where we ate one night. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sardinia!

As the bathroom faced stairs to the pool and another person’s balcony, the window needed a solid curtain for privacy and to keep out light whilst sleeping.

A beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and stunning views from the terraces. We enjoyed drinks in the lounge/bar area both evenings - would recommend the mojitos ? The air con in our room came on what felt like every 5 minutes through the night and was extremely loud! We couldn’t find a switch to turn it off but other than that our stay was perfect.

Calm and cool room, slept extemely well. Beakefast was good too. The entire Smerada area is a bit touristy and the price level higher than the rest of Sardinia.

The design was very unique giving a vintage vibe The view was gorgeous The breakfast had very little options and most of it sweets There was also a lot of stairs to get our luggage to the room however the receptionist helped us with the bags

Quiet hotel in a sleepy little town. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, they all spoke perfect english. Short walk to town center from the hotel. Clean and comfortable. Very organised. Could do with some quiet music or background noise at the pool. Hotel is quite secluded other than San Panteleo which is up in the mpuntains. We recommend hiring a car if you wish to explore the rest of the island. Parking situation at the hotel could be a bit clearer.

Location in the mountains was beautiful and the design was incredible. Pool area was beautiful. Terrace for breakfast was lovely. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough. Rooms were gorgeous with amazing bathrooms Not a dealbreaker but the pictures of the terrace on booking need updating as it is now covered and looks VERY different. The restaurant is not owned by the hotel and is very expensive as well as having a very limited steak based menu.

Beautiful property with great views and friendly staff. The breakfast was very good I think pool towels should be included in your stay
