Ocean Tide Beach Resort

We found our stay at the Ocean Tide Resort extremely comfortable. We stayed at 3 separate accommodations in San Pedro as we planned our trip late and had to move around some to accommodate our dates. This was by far the most updated unit and equivalent to a 4 star accommodation in the U.S. The mattress, linens, and pillows were luxurious, The AC worked like a champ and the bathroom was stylishly updated with plenty of space, storage, a walk in shower and hooks for all of your wet towels and belongings. There was also additional storage In the wall unit which was plenty for a short stay. This is a fairly compact set up as the rooms open up straight onto the pool and deck area where there are several tables, Hammocks, loungers and a sweet little bar. It has a great vibe and we found that everyone who frequented this business was sociable and pleasant. Because of this, it does lack some privacy but that was not a concern for us. The space never felt overcrowded and it quieted down both nights by 9 o'clock. I suspect that they spent some time insulating the walls when they updated the rooms as we slept extremely well and could not hear our neighbors. The pool was all you really needed to cool down which I would think would be quite necessary during hotter times of the year especially since The sargasso seaweed and sea walls in between most accommodations and the water makes it challenging to access it conveniently. There are several very good restaurants In close proximity to the hotel which was very convenient as was the morning coffee service that was provided outside the office. If you rent a golf cart there is also parking right outside the gate. Lastly, the staff was very hospitable and accommodating, offering to pick us up and drop us off from transportation hubs should we need it. If comfort and convenience are your priorities this is the place for you!

The scenery was beautiful, conveniently placed near all stores and many restaurants. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable Not much to say!

View was great, Jiggy was helpful. And the maintenance guy was very helpful and kind. We were told we had a tab at the bar listed under our room, yet we never went to the bar. On the last night we tried to get our complementary drink and they ended up closing 30 min earlier than they previously told us. I took a child shower as the plumbing was backwards. The rms were very hot and machines that sucks moisture out of room pushed or hot air. The shower had tile coming up from floor and it cut my foot. If some of these things were explained at check in we probably would have had a better time.

The pool was dirty and not working. The beach was closed because of sea weed and it smelled bad. There was a lot of noise at night by the bar where a big group was partying.

Great location, clean facility, and the most amazing staff. Tula is the best she had everything organized for us transportation, excursions. Jiggy took us out fishing and prepared the catch at the hotel after, full service! Can’t forget a shout out to the friendliest bartenders Raymond and Gabby and security guard Hilberto. This hotel truly has the best team. We will be back!!!

The staff was friendly. The pool and pool bar. The welcome drink and free coffee in the morning. The room was spacious and modern. Would have preferred a room higher up rather than by the pool but not an issue

Everything was perfect! From the very beginning the hotel staff were helpful and super accommodating. I felt safe being that I was a female solo traveler was that is important. It was close to a lot of night life. The room was cute and comfortable. TV came with Netflix and other stuff if that matters. Staff were very friendly just like most of the people in the city. The restaurant across the pier tasted great and fresh. The golf cart recommendation was top notch. No complaints!

Our stay at Ocean Tide was excellent! The beds were super comfy and the bathroom was very nice. The hotel was centrally located to many bars and restaurants in the area, so we were able to walk every where. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel to people looking for a comfortable place to stay. ? Everything was amazing. No complaints!

Great beach view with pool and quiet clean rooms

Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Ray. We were concerned about the loud music based on other reviews but we were not able to hear it from our room which was next to the pool. The staff kept the volume down. It was nice to have a pool to cool down. Room was very clean.

Wonderful staff and location

Excellent accommodating staff. So friendly! Transfers to and from the airport. Golf cart referrals and discounts. Day on the water with 501 adventures. Coffee in the morning. 3 queen beds vs king bed…..

Perfect location Town easy reachable, just a 5 min walk to the centre As mentioned whilst booking, no breakfast available wich wasn’t a big deal. Free flow of coffee in the morning at the premises and several reasonable prices restaurants in the near vicinity.

Good location The mildew. My room smelled awful. My clothes, my luggage, my bags, anything that was in that room absolutely stinks. I don't know if I'll ever be able to get the stink off of my luggage.

Close to the beach but an easy walk to the Main Street. Friendly staff, bar and swimming pool. No noise after 9pm when the bar shuts.

The staff was very accommodating, free drink at the bar, decor was very nice, very cute place! Nothing!

Quite location. The staff is the best ever. Clean and neat. To many locals hanging out for long periods.
