Was all good
-
Very clean, the staff was friendly! The restaurant in the property pricing was a bit high. Wasn’t sure why the rental for an umbrella and two chairs for Egitarso was €60.00 a day higher than a local brand right in front of the hotel.
-
The room was too small
-
Proximity to the beach. No help with our luggage. No elevator.
-
We had the top floor rooms with the big patio facing the beach, GREAT rooms.
-
Excellent location - right by the beach and town center.

The main hotel was right on the beach. The annex was not directly on the beach, but it was just steps from it and that was fine. The porch outside was fantastic to sit at and it’s beautiful. The windows and the doors were very intricate. since I booked on Expedia, not directly through the property, I was not in the main hotel, and the service was immediately degraded. A cat ended up peeing in my closet that was let in from the maids and ruined dress. They were very unhelpful with any kind of transportation, I had to do that on my own.

Great location! It was close to the beach and had wonderful views! The property was great, no complaints!

Beach front hotel room
-
Good breakfast ! But exactly the same every day Squeaking not comfortable bed
-
The room was small and dark. The worst bed I ever had in an hotel. I couldn’t sleep all night. The breakfast food looks old and no AC in the common areas of the hotel or lobby. Will never stay again.

Was right on the beach

People peddling their goods when you are eating in restaurant.
-
great location with view of the beach. Short 5 minutes walk to the downtown and restaurant areas You have to pay extra for the beach chairs. For the hotel rate it should be a free amenities for hotel guest
-
Anything We didn’t like the property. It was too old fashioned. The bed, the furniture, everything was too old, like 1980’s
-
No Elevators room was 3rd floor . Shower had mildew

We stayed at the Annex about 5 minutes away. It was hotel quality with daily cleaning. The room had a cute balcony area into the courtyard. The breakfast was fresh every morning and consisted of many different baked goods as well as eggs, cheeses, and meats. Overall it was a good experience. I think higher quality sheets and a thicker mattress would have made my stay excellent.

The main building with lobby was nice . Breakfast was good. The restaurant was good. The location is good. The main building is in front of the beach. The room I was assigned is 2 streets over from the main building and a street walk from the beach . Completely detached from the main building . No lobby , no reception. Just a random apartment complex made into hotel rooms. The room was dark and gloomy. The bunk beds were about 40 years old. Safe enough for maybe a small 4 year old . And what is the purpose of booking a “hotel” on the beach when you still need to rent separately umbrella and chairs? Not with the money. Better to get an Arbnb with way more space.

The location of the main building The included breakfast -If you are not in the main building the rooms are crazy. Similar to jail cell. Dark small dingy -one of the off buildings is close to the beach two others are a bit of a walk off the main path. -non main buildings are Tiny dark and not inviting to say the least. -front desk is not great at resolving issues. My shower did not drain the entire Time I was there.

We loved our stay at Hotel Egitarso. We stayed at the Annex which is few more meters away than the regular hotel but it’s not far and easy to walk. The beach is so close and beautiful, there was nearby restaurants, and shops too ! We rented loungers and an umbrella which was a bit unusual for us (since they don’t do that at the beaches in USA) but it was definitely an experience. We ate at the hotel for dinner and it was delicious. The free breakfast was great and lots of variety for all ! The air conditioning worked great, and was welcomed after many hot days in the sun ! Cleaners did a wonderful job cleaning the rooms each day . The bunk bed was a little dated and the bedspreads could be more comfortable (looked like a curtain) . Maybe a discount after a certain hour for the loungers - like after 15:00 ?
