I want to happily say that the staff at The Microtel compensated me for my last trip, and i am so happy about this, Raj at the front desk is great, and immediately took care of this for me upon arrival, and this stay I booked a suite, wich I can happily say I have been so comfortable in and it is great , convenient,clean, fan works in the bathroom, everything is wonderful, I am so happy as this is my go to hotel , its safe , chill and in the most convenient location... I am very happy with this trip and want to thank everybody from Raj, the owner and desk staff , I greatly appreciate you, it made me feel appreciated as a customer and so happy to be loyal to this hotel for the past 5 yrs...i will continue to come back , it really is the safest hotel in the area, and a chill comfortable vibe!

When I arrived to check in, I was greeted by a very rude receptionist whom I believe to be racist as well as sexist. He was even more angered when he had to change our room to accommodate us, since the initial room we were placed in was dirty. We seen a roach crawling on the wall, dirty refrigerator, faulty microwaves, and there was no breakfast. The tubs had mold, the furniture is old and worn, and they could hardly provide towels or clean sheets. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere!

This is my go to hotel when coming into Rva, and I have been loyal n spending my money here for years , and literally feel disrespected at my treatment on last 2 trips, this very last trip was traumatic and horrifying, it was 1 of few rooms that visually didn't look bad, but, it had bed bugs, and yes i have pictures and videos, they actually asked if I wanted to stay in the room. I wanted to leave but they dont give money back so I couldnt,the next room smelt so strong of mold and mildew and had visible black mold everywhere, and the rug was actually wet on the side of bed by the bathroom, the rest of the room it was mushy! Im left having nightmares and panic attacks , paranoid something is on me at all times , and I had to toss out alot of my belongings just in case, I couldnt throw everything out but had to clean everything in high heat & bag up everything else , just in case...im upset that after years and years of being a loyal customer that nobody even came to talk with me , offer my money back..what is crazier is that within 40 mnts , without my old room being cleaned, my dirty towels in a pile in bathroom, and bed not being made , the room was rented out , smh, and in am the door was open by housekeeping, the bedding from in there tossed everywhere, then in with all the others, this is a health hazard . Unreal n again, after being a good customer that has spent enough money there to buy two homes, ud think they'd treat me better..Idk what Ill do now😥

The first room we had i opened the fridge and it smelled terrible and wasn’t working. Then we went to the second room they gave us and the room smelled terrible, the couch and floor had burn holes in it. The knob for hot water by the couch area was leaking, the booth tub was dirty, the knobs on the bath room sink were missing. It was just a gross place to stay and the pictures looked good but I definitely don’t recommend…

Very small fridge.....microwave constantly squealing when using it and the buttons were hard to get to work.....asked the housekeeping staff for TP twice in the week there and never got any...had to use some I'd bought. The complimentary breakfast was nothing but coffee juice breads waffles and cereal

All I needed was a bed for a few hours after a long day of travel and didn’t want to pay for all of the extras a larger hotel would offer. The room was clean, staff was kind and I slept. The property is dated but if you’re just looking for a spot to rest your head this will meet your needs. Breakfast was available with 1 hot option and other grab-n-go options. It smelled good as I walked by on my way out the door.

Our room was very run down, there were several things broken in the room including the shower rod and seating area above the ac unit. The carpet also had stains and there was a pungent smell as well. The breakfast was also very minimal and had barely any options. P

Nothing Smelt like mildew as soon as I walked inside my room. Black dots on the tv only could see half of the tv. Wires hanging out from when they took the smoke detector out the ceiling. Just overall nasty looking. Toilet ran all night. Burn holes in the covers.

The first two units were dirty. Stains all over and soiled and heavily stained linen. The third room was a little better but still unacceptable. Toilet seat was the nastiest that I have ever sat on. I will not go back. It’s not the staff it’s the management.

Pour l’hôtel, mes enfants ont marché sur quelque chose qui leur a fait mal dans la salle de bain, ça sentait le pot dans la place, la seule chose qui tient bien est que le personnel est chaleureux et serviable,

The hotel was cheap but not in a bad way, only issue was with other guests hosting WrestleMania in their room at 2 am.
