Beach Street Inn and Suites

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The kids loved the free hot chocolate and snow cones. The location was convenient to the beach and boardwalk.

Great location off the boardwalk with nice-sized family suite. Smelled of industrial cleaners upon arrival. Good bed and pillows. But terrible noise from guests upstairs owing to thin ceiling. Could not change room. And bathroom fan could not be turned off and wasn’t well cleaned.

The room itself was disappointing. Based on other reviews, it seems some rooms have been renovated while others haven’t, and ours appeared to be one of the older ones. It could have used a much deeper cleaning, with what looked like mold or mildew in the shower grout and tracks, dirty baseboards, and an overall worn feel. The shower pressure was also extremely weak, to the point that it seemed like there was a plumbing issue. The location is excellent, but the condition of the room would make it hard to book this property again.

Cute, old-fashioned, beachside resort style motel like something from mid-century. Great for one to four people everything was clean. Staff was friendly. Two things to watch out for the free drink bar lattes are loaded with sugar not what I was expecting and the person sleeping near. The AC has almost 0 room to get out of bed and the bedframe has sharp metal that you have to squeeze by to get out I scratched both of my calves.

My family has stayed here before and loved it so much we booked are trip here again! The kids love it, has a beautiful view, always clean, friendly staff, and the kids love the popcorn and drinks! The pool area is always a good time. This time we filled are water bottles up with the water and ice machine, so nice. Great location another reason we like it so much!

Loved this Hotel!! Perfect for our overnight trip with our one year old. Short walk to the beach, free lattes and popcorn at the front desk. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Beach Street Inn. It was an easy walk to both the boardwalk and the wharf. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and a nice patio to enjoy the evening. The patios were shared though, it would be nice to put up a divider so you aren’t impeding on your neighbors. The room was clean and the staff was helpful while we were there. We booked a suite and it fit six adults comfortably. One of my only complaints would be that we were only given one parking spot for six adults. When I emailed to ask if we could have a second, the email was ignored. Other than that the stay was great. They offer free coffee, popcorn and snow cones in the lobby which was a nice touch and the pool and hot tub area was nice and had a fire pit. There are a lot of stairs to get from the street to the inn so someone with mobility issues may struggle. My mother in law had some trouble but there was also a driveway a little farther past the stairs that was easier for her to manage. Overall a great stay, I’d definitely book again.

Staff is very friendly. Excellent location. Rooms are clean and good size.

Everything I liked everything

The room was just what we needed. We felt safe with the locked gates surrounding the property. The location was second to none with being able to walk right across the street to all the Santa Cruz attractions. Great staff. The free popcorn and snowcones was a huge hit for our daughter. The pool was warm and perfect for the overcast weather during our stay.

Everything else Sewer issues noisy pipes kept waking me up the first night next one was much better.
