which we made use of in the evenings. Huge living room, comfortable bed, nice kitchen (has basic pots & pans but not too well stocked, would suggest bringing your own coffee). Also loved the jacuzzi tub. The bathroom was clean but could use some new caulking around the tube. The motel is older, but it does look like they have made good improvements. The location can't be beat, as we could walk down the hill through the private parking lot, right to the beach and wharf (a bit of a climb coming back up!) We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Edgewater Beach Inn. Before our stay I read some reviews about a dirty room or dirty sheets but we didnt experience that at all. Our room was very clean and well maintained. We booked the room with a beach view balcony and while it isnt a large as the other rooms it was very nice. Our ceiling fan worked as designed and while there is no ac the fan cooled us enough to be comfortable and our stay was on a warmer than usual night in Santa Cruz. We will gladly book there again!

The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the staff was very friendly. The only problem we had was the crying baby next door. It definitely put a damper on our vacation. It was difficult to fully relax.

Location was conveniently located near the ocean and a short few minutes walk to the boardwalk and pier. They boasted a kitchen, however, I learned the kitchen cleanliness was dependant on the previous guest. We had to wash all pans, utensils, etc prior to use. They also didn't have everything standard (like a spatula- which we asked for and they took from another suite). That was a turn off, personally. Additionally: read the ad! There is no AC in any of the units.

They offered a complementary coffee station, but didn’t have any coffee.

It was mine and my husbands anniversary… the girls in front Michaela Mariam and Ashley were so amazing! My husband had asked them to do something special to make the room special for our anniversary and these girls went above and beyond. They were so sweet and because of them we will definitely be going back. I wish I could have seen them all to say thank you when we checked out. What a wonderful experience we had here!!

It was clean and close to the boardwalk. 5 min walk Electrical issues in the room. Bath tub jets would turn on randomly in the middle of the night. Thermostat only did an “on or off” for fireplace. Tv connection would go in and out. Turned off the fan and fire alarm went off.

Costs

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property, especially for families. The apartment was spaciou, clean, and having a kitchen was very convenient. The pool was excellent, giving the kids a fun and safe place to swim and play. It’s within walking distance of the beach and offers beautiful views. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

There is nothing not to like about this property. It’s clean, the rooms are spacious, it’s like a 2 min walk to the beach/boardwalk. No complaints
