Motel 6 Santa Fe, NM - Downtown

The room was clean. Good location. Bad luck with very noisy neighbors.

Room was clean - check in was easy & efficient - parking was good - - - location on busy street - room door stuck & was hard to open - could use some update maintenance

Very basic, as was the price. Leaky bathroom sink, some tiles moldy, noisy air conditioner, walls thin, could hear everything the folks in the next room were saying. Is close to downtown.

Room was clean, but sparse. Staff was helpful. Bed was extremely hard and very little extra furniture in the room. Small table with hard backed chairs, 2 night stands and bed and that was it. Glad we were there only 1 night.

Great location, just a 15 minute walk to downtown, good if you have been driving all day.

This property is reasonable for a 2-star accommodation near the Plaza for walking distance compared to others. It was clean and quiet as I’ve always found it when staying here.

*Service was great. Asked for extra blankets, got it. Told about plumbing issue, fixed same day. A bit about the area. Lots of homeless but friendly people. Sidewalks are narrow so hard to walk and you are breathing in car exhaust. Lots of places open late, close early, have days off - not very tourist friendly - plan ahead. Overpriced tourist trinkets. Go for free art at the Capitol. Take free shuttle to Canyon Rd to walk art alley. Go to Walmart and buy a large pack of water bottles - it’s hot. Get souvenirs at Walgreens near downtown. Visit Los Alamos, skip Taos ( only thing worth a visit is Fechin House itself. )

This was a very affordable place to stay compared to other options in Santa Fe. It was conveniently located to places to eat and shop. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The bathroom was very outdated. The tub had chunks out of the bottom. Dirty around the toilet and behind Pillows were poor. You get what you pay for perhaps, but think Motel 6 could do better.

Room was clean. Friendly check in. Got me on a main floor room as I had a dog that was traveling with me across country. Much appreciated that.

Very handy position for walking around Santa Fe. Room was clean and tidy. Parking was good.

Most Motel 6's are usually decent. This hotel needs renovating in a big way. While the exterior looked nice, the interior left a lot to be desired. The beds were not comfortable, and none of the rooms had a walk-in shower as advertised (we had to elderly ladies in our party and this was very dangerous/awkward for them). When I expressed my concerns to the front desk, the person was very indifferent to our concerns. I will not be staying here again!
