The proximity to the beautiful beach ⛱️, layout, landscape. The room was spacious. Food in the restaurant was big variety, staff very professional and friendly. The rough start, unnecessary stressful communication regarding the accommodation. La cucaracha on the last day in the restaurant. The hotel needs to invest into refurbishment of the rooms, they ask to be renovated.

The staff didn't react with my reservation so they didn't help to modify my reservation....they send me a message almost when my stay period is done. Don't book online wait untill you get there

I liked the breakfast buffet and how quiet it was. Not too busy. The lunch and dinners at the buffet restaurant could have had more variety and a few more options for kids.. pizza...spaghetti.

The staff at Melia Tortuga Beach went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout, everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel truly valued as guests. Their hospitality made our experience even more special. Highly recommend! Given the current economic conditions in the country, I believe there should be greater encouragement for tipping staff. Recognizing their hard work and dedication through gratuities can make a meaningful difference in their livelihood and overall well-being.

Nothing as, upon arrival, we were moved to Melia Dunas The fact that we were moved to a different hotel, the information provided on the facilities was poor and often didn't match, food in the restaurants was not great, rooms were very far, the staff seemed to be clueless and often the language was an issue

pools and the closet to the beach ants everywhere, very poor food from breakfast to dinner, no animation, harassment from minute 1 from a guy that try to sell tour and the Spa package.
