The food was terrible. Always overcooked so either burnt, mushy or hard, even when first in line. The dessert was all the same mouse with different colors. The drinks were all very sweet, even when ordering without sugar. Very little variety and very difficult to find any bottle that were top shelf. Very difficult to get a reservation, even when trying to book a few days out. I would not stay here again.

The food was really good. There was a lot of options for everyone: vegetables, meat, fish, everything was good. This is not easy in such a big hotel. Staff was super nice and helpful!! It all comes down to really bad value for money. At 450 euros a night, it was just all disappointments. Room - In the reviews, people say it's outdated. This is a misunderstanding - The room was recently renovated, but it was very poorly renovated. So you got a brand new shower, but everything else is old. (Also, we had cockroaches running around the room, but I guess there's not much they can do about that) Pool - Like everyone else saying, the pool is great, but people put their towel to reserve a seat and if you come after 9:30 there's nowhere to sit. Again, this all comes down to value for money.

The room was great, it had everything I needed and more. The breakfast options were also so vast, really good. For a 5-star resort, I expected a better service. It was basically impossible to communicate with the hotel via Booking, and once I got there, no one knew anything at the reception — either because it was 1 am (the time I arrived to Cape Verde), or because they couldn’t bother to contact their sister resort and asked me to walk there. The resort was absolutely packed which meant you had to “fight” to get a sun lounger at the pool, either by going super early to reserve one with your beach towel, or you had to stand and wait for who knows how long. I wouldn’t come back, the resort next door, while smaller, was much nicer!

We asked for two extra pillows which never came. But it was great otherwise.

Nice beach. Simple rooms, would have expected more for the price.
