Stunning hostel in the middle of the jungle surrounded by animals and nature. Beautiful pool. Comfy beds. No hot water

I liked everything but just take note, it is a 10min walk to the main road. It definitely added to the adventure and immersive experience . But just a heads up It’s best to arrive and depart while it is still daytime. When it’s dark it’s hard to navigate and can be a bit scary.

We really enjoyed our time at Origen Hostel. Sami and Will, our hostel hosts, were very helpful and friendly and they made us feel very welcome. The setting is beautiful and we spotted a lot of wildlife around us, like Toucans and lizards. I found it very easy to relax here and unwind, only wished I had booked more time there! It's not far from Tayrona park entrance, 3 mins on a bus or moto taxi. Not much around in terms of restaurants else where, but the food at the hostel is great. There was some heavy downpour of rain while we were there and the little creeks we had to cross were larger, but still passable. There were a few power outages, which we were informed are not rare for the area. So I would recommend packing a rain poncho, battery packs and a torch.

I absolutely loved it. Food amazing, secret location in the middle of the jungle, yoga classes. Perfect getaway from the busy world and crazy tourism!

The lovely people who work there! The location is so beautiful. I loved the pool also very much! -

This hostel is in such a unique location; to get there you need to cross a wooden bridge and the jungle (don’t go with luggage but backpacks). The main common area and the pool are amazing. In the morning you just wake up to the sounds of birds singing. I found this place by coincidence and only for a night - I only wish I had more time to stay for longer!

Wonderful stay in a quiet and lush space, prone to relaxation and wellbeing. The pool is stunning surrounded by beautiful plants, coconut, banana and mango trees. Delicious vegetarian food and lovely staff. A treat! There was no yoga available despite it being advertised on pictures. There was no electricity in our room but it contributed to our disconnection :)

Excellent hostel with very friendly staff and chill mood Needs some hiking to get there. Bit tricky if you arrive at night.

Will is so chilled and nice. I felt right at home with him. The common area is really inviting and one of the best I've ever had in a hostel. The dorms were really cool, as well. Real jungle feeling. Amazing Pool and Hammock area. And a slack line Unfortunately there was a confused guest that took other's shoes.. so watch out for your stuff

Peaceful little paradise in a great location! Good food and facilities :)

Our stay was perfect, William was super nice with us. It’s a paradise in the jungle, it’s super friendly. I highly recommend it. When you’re taking breakfast included there is only 1 option.

Good facilities and customer service. The location it’s hard to find/get to. They should specify that they must get there before night because at night it’s almost impossible to find it due to the lack of light and visible signs. The breakfast is a little overpriced compared with the price of a typical breakfast in Colombia. Also there was a cute lil family of bats in the room ?

Stefany was a gem! She truly made the stay more enjoyable with her endless smile and kindness. The swimming pool and surroundings will make you feel like in paradise. Totally recommended!
